Amici pet’s King Charles copper Dog canisters are handmade in India and come in two sizes: 38 oz and 104 oz. The 38 oz Canister features a gold plated bone-shaped badge with the word “treats” while the 104 oz Features the words “pet food.” each canister features a handcrafted hammered texture on the copper plated base and lid. Each lid features a gold handle and rubber gasket to create a tight seal. This collection is a beautiful way to store items such as kibble, treats, bones and other dry goods. Food safe. Handwash only. Made in India.

We got moth larve hatching in our stored bird seed, webs everywhere (ewww), so it was critical to get a small, carry-container that sealed tight (and was attractive). It seals, that's for sure. Getting it open again is the struggle. Make sure you try to open it outdoors, or you'll have bird seed flying everywhere. I'm 65, with fibromyalgia, so opening tightly sealed things is always tough. Hold tight against your body, grasp the lid handle and twist while pulling. I'll keep practicing. hopefully it'll get better. Meantime, it seals and looks very nice.

I was completely happy with this when I received it. It looks wonderful and even sitting near my late mother's REAL copper, it actually holds its own. The lid is VERY snug, it took me a bit of wrassling to get it open the first time, but I like that as I know it has a surprisingly tight seal. Perfect for me!
