There are rare times when something so simple and inexpensive becomes indispensable. Such is the case for this Handgrip Stabilizer while using a Smart Phone. The simplicity of use and the complete control of your iPhone while shooting video is remarkable. This handgrip secures your smart phone with a strong grip and the ability to secure it in any horizontal position. (Don't shoot video in a vertical position. You don't view your TV programs in a vertical position do you?) When mounting to a smart phone be aware to secure the mount in such a manner as to not depress the on/off buttons. I am a retired TV Network photojournalist that is simplifying my life by using my iPhone as my video camera of choice while traveling abroad. The ease of use is great and it adds to my traveling enjoyment while not being burdened with a large video camera. I highly recommend this Handgrip Stabilizer.

This grip stabilizer is actually better than I expected. I was looking for a simple handheld grip to hold my iPhone for extended periods when I couldn't use a tripod. This thing did the trick. After holding an iPhone 6 for almost an hour taping a classroom lesson - my hands, wrists, and arms were not fatigued and I was able to get good stable footage from the iPhone (I was able to move around the classroom and not video from one spot). I actually held this grip in my right hand and held an external mic (Zoom H2n) on a mini boompole (modified selfie stick) in my left hand. No problems whatsoever. Before purchasing this grip I tried several hand grips including those made of aluminum and plastic with cushioning. This grip just felt like I had more control of the iPhone's movements (up/down - left/right with minimal or no shaking). Because this pistol grip is slightly angled and has a rubberized texture I believe this worked for me more than some of the straight shaft designs. I wasn’t expecting anything superior, but this grip was a pleasant surprise. The mount that holds the phone is also secure - when moving the iPhone 6 around I never felt like it was going to fall out of the bracket. It also holds my iPhone 6 + fairly tight, and I look forward to using this as well. This grip is quite sturdy and was a good purchase.

This holder was designed for holding a cell phone but I bought it to hold a small portable DVD viewer. Excellent to hold the device if you are watching a video for a long time. More comfortable then holding the device by itself.

I have to put my phone into it a little over to the left side so the mount doesn't mash/cover my buttons.First thing I noticed was that just having that little amount of extra weight to one side made it slightly lean that same direction.I took my phone out and sure enough, the base at the top of the handle has some slight play/wiggle to it. The edges of the rubberized/grip layer were loose and there are a few screws underneath it. I don't wanna tear it apart just to try and tighten it up.I didn't buy this for anything professional and it's not going to impact the quality of what I will use it for, but I wouldn't buy this again or recommend it to anyone after receiving it.

Awesome. Turns your smart phone in to a high def digital camcorder for $10. There are two parts, the grip and the mount. The mount can be attached to a standard tripod. The grip has a good rubber texture to it that is easy to hold.

Un buen soporte, se adapta bien a los cuatro móviles en lo que lo he probado. Imprescindible para hacer fotos, y sobre todo vídeo con el móvil sin meter los dedos dentro del encuadre y sujetando perfectamente el terminal. Incluso puedes acoplar a la ver una cámara deportiva y realizar dos tomas al mismo tiempo.
Full of good little aspects
I bought this product hoping to be able to film videos that are less shaky on my phone (I know that modern phone cameras have stabilizers, but most of them are not good enough to fully compensate the instability when it goes down to filming while walking or worse - running). I had my hopes and wishes in check as it is a very simplistic grip, but well surprised I was to see it working. The great thing about this stabilizer and the only reason it actually works - it gives you much firmer and better grip. So here are the highlights:• Comfortable in hand and the material of this item is good too, you can't loose a grip even with sweaty or just wet hands• Flexibility - a top part of this grip can be swapped to accommodate either a phone or a camera• Strap is handy as well, serves as a last safety straw• Weight is somewhat reasonable, if you are used to carrying your camera / phone in a hand while filming then you will notice the difference as it adds up a bit of weight, but a whole thing is still pretty light, so you will stop realizing shortlyAll in all, it's a very good item that comes at a low price with high price/quality ratio.
