We recently went through all of my husband’s tools to organize them. He had them so unorganized he couldn’t find tools and would dig through drawers to find something, which was unnecessarily time consuming.I ordered these magnet strips and he couldn’t be happier with them. They are super strong and can definitely handle heavy weight. They hold a lot!FYI: The sticker with the label is not removable, it holds the magnets in place.He loves these so much! Being able to visually see and grab whatever he needs is a game-changer. He also got some pegboards, shelves and organizing bins and never has to search for a tool again and is thrilled.Highly recommend!
4.0 out of 5 stars Works okay, but a couple of warnings
I got this to help with an "in bedroom closet" tool kit for tools I use regularly upstairs in my townhome. The design is good, except for the fact that the magnets are covered with a piece of sticky paper that is not as tough as my tools. Already some of that has come off. Perhaps it's not too bad to just have the individual magnets showing, but I would like this much better if there was a metal cover over the magnets that remains looking good for the long haul, in place of that flimsy paper. For mounting each bar includes 4 fine thread drywall screws, but they easily strip out a hole in the drywall. It would be impossible to match the mounting points with studs on both sides. I chose to use some plastic drywall anchors, drilling holes for each and threading the provided screws into them. If you don't do something like that, or mount them on a small piece of wood that is screwed to studs, pretty soon I suspect that pulling a tool (particularly a larger one like a hammer) from the magnets will result in the bar pulling loose from the inadequate drywall screws. It wasn't too hard to work around this problem, but first you had to figure out there is a problem. They could easily have provided anchors to solve this problem.Having solved the problem, I'm keeping them and they will do the job. Could have been better though.

I just installed 2 of the 4 yesterday. Using them to hold my yard tools (trowel, clippers). strong enough magnet to hold a pair of hedge shears, easy to attach to wall with provided substantial black screws and plastic end clips. I was able to mount 2 side by side, as the end clips allow you to "string" them together. Look good that way. The magnets come with a brand label which seems intended to be permanent, it is not a very good installation for the label but I did not mess with it (essentially a tape, applied at manufacturer, on the magnet itself). The second is the barcode label which I think needs to be removed. Be sure to remove it prior to installation. It is one of the permanent labels and is hard to remove. Just a bit of a pain...not worth a star reduction...I forgot to take one of the two off, until installed. I am picky.

These are ok, but I definitely wouldn't be expecting strong magnets. Can't even hold a large screwdriver securely. Great for small objects.

Great quality. I use these bars in my knitting studio to hang the cast on combs, etc that go with my knitting machine. Works great!!
