This is my second one and is the best gps ever! I have a laser one, but this little guy is easier to use and is very accurate! Like the way it just fits in your pocket, like the fact it gives you yardage to front, middle and back of green and also yardage in the fairways, and especially how far to trouble spots. Highly recommend!

I live in Northern Michigan. It picked up the signal right away and loaded the golf courses I asked for. Later we played a course unfamiliar to us and it added that course as well. The guys I golf with are impressed with the accuracy of the Garmin and ask me the distance to the pin.

Owned smaller, minimalist GPS units, most were clumsy & too small to access functions easily, using 2 hands on a tiny unit is difficult, smaller is better if all you want is yardage to the hole, realized I wanted bigger not smaller, this unit is bigger with easy one hand access to multiple screens, touch screen instead of buttons to scroll through screens. Don't like too much in my pockets, prefer a holster/bracket that clips on the belt with an easy, click in/out of the GPS unit (no clip on the unit itself, good). Graphics & color are ok but definitely better than smaller black/white units. May not be for everyone but I definitely prefer it over the small units or an app.

Like - Battery life and ability to move flag on the green.Dislike - difficult to keep score, does not have the slope adjustment, touch screen slow response rate.will not update...it was shipped on April 5th I have tried to make it work properly and the return date expired on May 6th today is May 7th I recommend do not buy this.

Distances seem very, very accurate. Small size makes it easy to put in pocket. I also bought a mount so the G30 can be secured to golf cart. With just a little "training", it is easy to operate and download courses.

Upgrading from a Garimin A6 to this G30. The G30 is affordable and charges good, yet you need to take the belt clip off to do charging. Glad this device has universal C connect. Furthermre, my suggestion - don't use the belt clip. Easy to lose without a secure attachment. G30 has a place to secure a keyring and attach to golf bag. A retractable gear keeper works for me. The a6 had less of a display area because of dedicated push buttons. G30 has more display area.Really hope the satellite reception will be stronger than A6. This is a keeper. Put your name on this awesome golf gps.

Was für ein Elektroschrott!Das Teil funktioniert nur jedes 50. mal! Zeigt zwar sehr schön das Loch mit Bild der Bahn an,aber das ist es auch schon. Wenn man losläuft wundert man sich, dass sich nichts verändert!Abstandsmessung zum Grün oder sonstigen Hindernissen?? Fehlanzeige!Die Anzeige ist wie eingefroren. Auch dauernder Neustart bringt keine Veränderung.Und das beim Marktführer GARMIN!!Leider zu spät getestet und kann es jetzt nicht mehr zurücksenden!!Finger weg von diesem Schrotteil.
