I originally bought this for clients at work. (I worked at a nursing/rehab facility) they would come in, need a shave & not have a razor & the ones we provided were one blade & awful! Once I left, I brought it home & it became the dog's razor. I shave my puggle. (Yes.. my luggage. He loves it!) It only came with a few different extensions, and a little cheap bag. The battery lasted quite a while every time id charge it. My fiancée also uses it to shave his back. (Er, technically, I use it). It doesn't require any oil. You can rinse it with water (just make sure you let it fully dry before using again). Anyways.. I'd say it got used at least twice a month between my fiancée & the dog. The dog used the middle size, and no cover at all for my fiancée.After 4 years, its finally died. I'm not sure whats wrong with it. I charge it, and it will turn on and shave & then die randomly & turn back on randomly.I like the fact that I can take the entire head off, and clean inside. I like that I can clean where the actual blade is.Id recommend this, if you're looking for something that's quick, cheap, and effective. If youre looking to shave your head, back, or dog, its amazing. If you are looking to do your nose, and intricate designs, or a few different sizes, id recommend going with something else. The blade is sharp, and never lost its dullness. But, like I said, it only came with a few different sizes.The little carry case is a cheap, pos. Although, I still have mine, fully intact. Its nothing fancy, but if you're on the go, I'd recommend upgrading to your own travel case. If its going to sit in the bag, on a shelf, in your bathroom, it should be fine.Happy shaving! 😊 *i just went to Walmart to buy a new one, and they had this exact one for 18$* [I did use this for 4 years!!]

I tried a $30 trimmer previously, with all kinds of attachments, and adjustable guards and combs, and I have to say there is something to be said for simplicity! No frills, bells, or whistles - came with exactly what I needed - simple brown cardboard packaging, simple instructions, an assortment of guards, and some extra heads for detail and ear/nose trimming. The guard combs are comfortable, and unlike the more expensive razor I tried before, trims smoothly without pulling hair. The blade cuts well, and quickly trimmed down my beard, which had gotten longer than I realized. It doesn't bog down or jam with thick hair, and trims very well. I also was able to edge, and clean up my neck without any trouble. I like that this unit does not come with a big gaudy holder which only takes up shelf space. I only ever use 1 or 2 accessories anyhow, so the ones I don't use as much I can leave in the included pouch and put them away, dust free (can't say the same for a caddy that just takes valuable shelf space and only collects dust and grime!). Anyway, this trimmer works great for me, and was a good value! I didn't get a chance to use it long enough to rate the battery life, but I expect it will be just fine.Edit: I've been using this a while now and it rarely needs charging. Battery lasts a good long while and I am very happy with it so far!

I bought this to replace a different brand trimmer that died. The first thing to know about this one is that it's very aggressive. Really cuts well, which is to say, you better want to cut what you're cutting. With my old trimmer I had to go several strokes over the same patch of beard to get the job done, which makes it less likely to accidentally mow a deep patch or something. This one, however, just cuts anything in its path. That's a good thing if you're confident about your technique. Just be careful with it.I don't like my beard to be too short, but it gets scraggly and needs trimming now and again. I'm used to using the guides that come with a trimmer, but the longest guide (marked 16mm) in this kit are still pretty short for my taste. Though I've been cutting my beard shorter anyway so my coronavirus masks will fit better.I've used several different models of nose hair trimmers in the past and, like the others, the attachment on this trimmer doesn't really do the job very well.Finally, there is no LED on the charger, so you have to trust that it's working and you never know when it's fully charged. I just leave it on the charger cable when not in use and it hasn't been a problem.

Mine has been working for what seems like a decade. I don't really like the beard trimming collection door, but it's because I always leave my beard for too long before trimming.I've given up on other trimmers much sooner than with this one, and it shows no signs if slowing down.

The worst shopping experience ever!!!Received when I totally forgot after placed order 2.5months so I have no choice to return, and the production package was broken seems like it was used.It's auto working at midnight someday after I used the first time and never can work again!Beee aware the charger is not compatible with the AU's standard charge boards.
