I got this because I am always the coldest one in my car, no matter whose vehicle I am in or who is driving. My legs always get cold. This worked perfectly on a recent trip to keep my legs warm so I didn't have to crank the heat and make everyone else uncomfortable.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He hasn't installed his automatic start yet (Christmas present from last year), and his ride to work is short so the truck didn't always heat up enough by the time he needs to leave. We live in the midwest so the winters can get pretty cold. He goes out to start his truck and this is plugged into the cigarette lighter and it heats up nicely for when he sits down he puts it over his lap and underneath him so he's wrapped in warmth in the legs as he drives to work. It is true you cannot adjust the temperature as it plugs into the cigarette lighter, so it's either on or off. It's not supposed to be the equivalent of a heating blanket but it is a great little product and he loves it and he's happy with it, so I'm very happy with it. I would definitely buy this again.

The blanket uses about 30-40 watts of power. To put that in perspective, that's about 1/2 of a normal incandescent car headlight. It's NOT going to get very warm for that power. However it is just enough to take a chill away and make life just that much more comfortable. I used this in the winter in an RV to avoid having to turn on the gas heat at night when outside temps dropped well below freezing and if you add enough heavy blankets it is low power enough it can run off of the coach batteries while sleeping. Of course you have to be ok with cabin temps in the 30's and low 40's. It's smallish, so it's not really big enough to be a bed blanket but you can think of it as a really big heating pad and that works for me.

I haven’t had an issue with this blanket. It doesn’t get too hot but it gets hot enough to keep you warm. It’s not to thick, it’s super soft and comfortable. I’ll be buying another one the day it decides to not work anymore!

Bought for a trip during the early winter of Nov. '23. It helped keep my back, hips, and legs warm on the trip.Especially on the way back home it rained and was still cold all the way back home with bumper to bumper traffic which should have been 5 1/2 hr. trip turned into almost 9 hrs..You have no switch to regulate the output. It takes about 15-20 mins. for it to start heating good. When it would get too warm, I would unplug it from my cigarette lighter.Love the color, and the material feels good and holds the shape, nothing flimsy.Update: I found if your car has warmed up first, the blanket don't take so long to heat.

Got this for my brother, he's otr trucker. He loves it, works great and kept himself comfortable during last winter. He wound up getting an adapter so he can use it at home. Much cheaper than ordinary heated blanket!

Ideal blanket for working inside of your car
This product is pretty comfortable. Sometimes my work requires me to work in the car. I don’t wanna leave my engine running and idle for my 12 hour shifts, this makes a great way to keep warm for long periods of time when working outside in -10 to -20 degrees Celsius weather.
Does the job it's designed for.
Excellent product. Just worried that people will give an unfair review as for some, they would expect this to keep them warm in the worse of conditions. It was a good buy!
Great for camping
I bought this to act as a mattress pad under the sheets on my side of the bed in the motorhome. It's a perfect size for one person. Doesn't get too hot, ensures a comfortable temperature.
