5.0 out of 5 stars Great compression
I've reviewed these exact socks in other colors. I feel the same about these. Love the material, the color is great they wash well and are made well very durable. They go on easy and stretch as needed. The compression is perfect for me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great socks
Socks are the most comfortable and easy to put on that I have tried yet. Have already ordered more.
4.0 out of 5 stars Looks well made, but…
The compression socks looked to be well made and seem like they would last a long while if properly cared for. But the fit is just wrong. I am pregnant and got these to help with the ankle and lower leg edema made worse by varicose veins. These felt loose around the ankle and overly tight around the ankles. If you know anything about compression stockings then you know this will cause the exact OPPOSITE of reducing swelling. I followed the fit guide and height wise they are perfect, just way too tight around the calf. It may just be the way I am built, but these will not work for me. Maybe if someone has a slimmer physique they will work fine.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tall- Great length for folks with long legs
I am 5’6 / 165 lbs as you can see these are too long, and will be perfect for folks with long legs.I saw mixed reviews about them being short and too small so I decided to go a size up and order tall XL. They are too big and too long. I’m going to keep them because the compression is still good and I can roll the band down or pull them up and wear them as over the knee compression socks. But if you’re tall, this will be perfect for you just make sure you get the extra tall size I would say these are true to size again I ordered the wrong size but I’m going to make them work for me. They are also great quality .
3.0 out of 5 stars Ouch!
Wayyy too tight! I ordered proper size but they're way too tight! No stretch, Painfully compressed!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great socks!
These are wonderful quality compression socks. The compression is strong, but the open toe design makes them much easier to get on and more comfortable to wear. They wash great and don’t shrink.
1.0 out of 5 stars Tossed 'em out first time I tried to put one on!!!
Sorry folks, I did not like the feel of these socks. Opened the package, and started to purr one on. I was anxious because I ordered a much larger size to see if they would be more comfortable...butI couldn't even pull one up my leg!!! It kept rolling into a near-solid ring, impossible to move. I thought for a minute I would have to get some scissors to cut it off, but after a struggle and some rather inappropriate language, I got it off and threw it straight into the trash can!!!To me it felt like trying to put my leg into a rubber balloon, or maybe a wet suite. It even looked like solid rubber...not knitted material. As they are, I think these things would leave a permanent, circular dent around your leg!! Nuts to that!!!!Sorry to all those who found them useful. My experience definitely did not match their write-ups.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Open Toe Compression Sock Design
The benefit of open toe socks is that they don't pull on your toes. The benefit of Doc Miller socks is that the bottom band, where the sock ends before the toes, is knit smooth without the bulging seam found on most open toe compression socks. It's as if other brands can't finish the sock without adding the not-needed toe seam. Doc Miller socks instead have a completely smooth transition to the end of the sock. If you wear open toe socks frequently, you find that sliding your foot into some shoes causes the end of the sock to roll up a little. If the sock has a seam at the end and that rolls up, it is like having a large rubber band rubbing the arch and bottom of your foot all day. I found Doc Miller socks on Bolo by accident and now that's all I buy. For various medical reasons I'm required to wear them every day (medium compression 20 -30) and these are the most effective for my legs and comfortable for my feet. The pricing is great, especially compared to medical supply stores, and these last a long time if you hang them to dry. Doc Miller comes in black and beige in the open toe version as well as a few stripes and colors. I've thrown out the socks with the thick toe seam and just wear Doc Miller now and I wasn't paid to write this!
Good quality
Good quality and works! Like them. Good fit.
Regular large size switches to TALL only
I was pleased with the compression provided but I ordered a large and received a large (TALL), which are 2" longer in the leg and foot. When you select the size the regular large isn't there.I've tried them today and the TALL foot area is rolling back causing an uncomfortable ridge of material on my sole and they have creases on the ankle as they're TOO big. If I could get a regular Large it would great but these are unfortunately going to be returned.
Will buy it again
I was going on a plane trip that would be 8 hours plus 2 , and they did good job my legs didn't swell.
