I have a 6lb male chihuahua who refuses to go outside when it is cold at all, rains, wind blows, or flower petals drop on his face....basically anything besides perfect warm calm weather, he is not going outside. So these pads have been amazing for us. I really like that they have sticky parts on the back. I bought some plastic sheets from Michael's and put them around a metal puppy playpen to build a little potty area for him. I then line the whole bottom of the pen and halfway up the walls with the pads using the sticky parts on the pads to hold it up. Absorbency is very good as long as he pees fully on the pad part.

The pad size is great, the sticker does not work for us as it is not strong enough. In all fairness, we use it for our guinea pigs and it holds to fabric. So I did not expect it to hold. It absorbs pee, but it does not absorb the smell like with other pads I have had.

I purchased these puppy pads for my opossum because they have the sticky tabs in the corners. Though the tabs are small, about 1 1/2" long by 3/4" wide, they do stay in place. They stick well enough that they don't come loose when he walks on it, but they come up fairly easy for removal. I'm really happy with these puppy pads and I will buy more when I start running low.
