I am training for my first full marathon and have only had the chocolate GU in the past. Figured I would try out the variety pack and I was glad I did. I currently use three per run and am now able to carry three different flavors. Taste is great and I can tell a huge difference in my performance. Cramping is no longer an issue and I love the little boost of caffeine. Would strongly recommend to anybody doing physical activity. Packs are very easy to carry and keep handy.

Back in the day, I used Gu a lot for long runs and marathons and found it very helpful. But now I run mostly as a sideline and rarely more than an hour. But I was on a ski lift in March and saw a person on the chair using Gu and during the 10 minute ride, engaged in a conversation. It turns out these work really well as a mid day energy boost on the slopes, and keeping them in a pocket keeps them from any freeze concerns. It was an easy way to get 100 calories at a very low cost, especially compared to on mountain prices.So when I got home, and got back into my rowing activity I found that a Gu before the workout, or in some cases during was a huge help and now I use them regularly. So the box of 24 here at basically a wholesale price has been a huge help. I keep them in my desk in the box and grab them whenever I need one. I even use them for mid afternoon work snacks.Strong recommened on this product.

Was supposed to get 2 boxes of the GU variety Gels, ended up with a box of stroopwaffels variety and a box of the variety gels. Wasn't expected but I think I like the GU diversity.

I was fascinated and also skeptical before buying this item due to other buyers experience of short expiry date for the item. Bought it during sale and to my surprise expiry date is one year and 3 months.
