About every other month my ears seem to get plugged up with wax build up. After asking the audiologist for the best home product to help alleviate the issue, he recommended this Ear Wax MD. I've used it 3-4 times now and it definitely helps. It does take a bit of time to do both ears (about 15 minutes per ear), so plan accordingly, but if you let it work per the directions, it breaks down the wax and helps clear it out with a good rinse. Will definitely keep buying this - especially when it helps cut down on the number of trips to the ear doctor.

So I used this stuff on my Pops ears, & it actually got a good amount of wax out his ears. The 1 side a big chunk (eww) came out, I recommend using those plunger/ear sucker things that usually come w other ear drops, & use that 2 squirt the warm water in when flushing bc it'll give a lil water pressure 2 loosen the wax. But def worth it. 7.5/10

The instructions say product will clear out ear wax with two applications of 15 minutes in the ear and 15 minutes of flushing. When it did not work the first time I tried it again the next day with still no ear wax coming out of the ear. I went to my doctor and her PA was able to remove the wax. Using this product and a peroxide based product softened the stubborn wax. I liked Earwax MD and would be willing to give it another try if I need it.

According to the doctor who had to flush my ear out, this solution causes the wax to expand, making it harder to get out when there is a lot of it. Better for maintenance than a remedy.

TIP: If you have blockage or using earwax products for first time let this sit as long as you can 30-60min per ear or use multiple times.When I was 23 my earwax buildup caused complete blockage in one ear and I picked this up from the store. After using it once for 15 min, I refilled my ear and let it sit for an hour… and I have never seen something so disgusting yet satisfying. Works perfectly.I get a lot of earwax due to small ears and working out with earphones all the time. Great to use every couple months but don’t overdo it, earwax is good for you. When it gets a dark color is when it’s time to clean.
