I purchased this tripod just to have the option to take photos without requesting help. I wanted to capture everyone in group photos and myself when I travel or hike alone. For the price and the basic functionalities I need, it works good, but it's certainly not outstanding quality.The remote paired instantly with my Android phone, setup is very easy. It's small, easy to hide it in my palm so it's not visible in photos. You really need to take care to turn it off after use, the battery dies fast otherwise.The tripod fits my Moto G smartphone perfectly with the bumper case on (I had several generations) and has decent stability. The head swivels around it multiple position, but depending on the weight of the phone, some might not be very stable. As long as I make sure the terrain is flat and I adjust the legs properly, I have no issues with stability.The legs are flexible, easy to bend to the desires shape, but once bent several times I could never get them 100% straight again. It doesn't bother me that much, it's still as functional as ever.The range of the remote control is not that good and a couple of times I had to move the tripod closer to finally get some pictures. 30 feet is a gross exaggeration, maybe 10-15 feet is the range. But it's sufficient range for most of my needs.The tripod is quite sturdy, including the mounting part. I have carried it around in my backpack in multiple hiking trips and it looks just like new.

The Ubeesize Flexible Mini Phone Tripod is so handy! It’s a great size for a seasoned traveler on the go, or the occasional selfie. The octopus style legs make it super easy to use in any environment. I like that it can be used with most phones and even GoPros. The wireless remote is great for those group pictures or wide-angle shots!

I love the size and versatility of this product! It easily fits in my backpack for travel. I use it to hold my phone for videos and pictures. I can also turn it into a stand for my iPad which is perfect for the airplane or working on the go.The main thing I’m dissatisfied with is the customer service. At some point on my travels, taking the tripod in and out of my bag the pin to tighten the mount fell off. I reached out to customer service about buying or getting a new part. They sent me a link to a part I wasn’t asking for so I sent them the photo below. This was the response: I'm sorry that we do not have the link to the piece you mentioned in your last email to provide you, because it is not available.I guess most customer service places I’ve worked with would have gladly just sent me the part. It frustrates me that they wouldn’t help because there wasn’t a link made where I could order that particular part. I don’t like wasting plastic so I prefer to fix things rather than get rid of it and buy a new one. I guess I’ll come up with how to make a pin on my own.

A bit on the flimsy side but good value money. There is some centre of gravity issue with heavy phones but I found blue-tacking the legs down helps.

Nice little tripod!
Nice little tripod, the phone adapter is big enough to accommodate my iPhone X+ with an Otter box case...I used it to shoot a bit of video on my deck and the legs of the tripod are flexible enough to wrap around the back of my patio chairs and the railing around my deck making it easy to get good hands free video...The BT remote works very well, just frame the shot and select the picture mode on your camera (portrait, video, etc.) and when you are ready just click the remote to take a pic or start or stop video.This would be a fairly serious setup IF it came with a 90* adapter for the phone mount and that’s my one and only gripe about it but that’s more a convenience than a function...I purchased two to get free shipping and was going to gift one to a friend but after using it I have decided to keep one in the house and one in my truck... they are quite handy to have.
