I wasn't sure what to make of these when I first saw them, but they are terrific! I bought them specifically to use as "chocolate dipped spoons" to use in cocoa or coffee (fun little presents), and I wanted to cut-down on the plastic waste. I was worried by some of the reviews about the spoons loosing their shape in heat. However, the hot melted chocolate did not misshape them at all. (Quick note, though: I did test one of the dipped spoons in my coffee, and after being in the VERY hot coffee for over ten minutes, it did flatten. That was not concern for my purposes, but I can see where it might be an issue with really hot soup, etc. Just be aware.) Anyway, I am sold! I like that these utensils are eco-friendly, and they are super cute, too. :) I will buy again.

These spoons arrived last week. So far, I've used them to make lip balm and lotion bars. The spoons are pretty sturdy. They hold up well when I'm stirring my oils. I like the length of these spoons too and the color reminds me of those tiny wooden spoons you'd get when eating TG Lee ice cream from those little cups. Oh, memories.... I also forget that they are disposable and I find myself wanting to "save" them and not throw them away. It's easy to rinse the residue off these spoons and use them again (eg: scooping coconut oil) but I would not 'save' them for use later on. There are 100 in there after all so you might as well recycle the used spoons. I'd definitely get these again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very positive addition to my Cockatoo's routine, both as toys as well as as spoons.
I serve my Cockatoo small amounts of what we have for dinner on a fork or spoon pretty much every day. She, being a Cockatoo, loves to chew on wood and rip things up for fun, so I decided to cut out washing all those spoons I was retrieving from the bottom of her cage and bought these. They are perfect for this, and Sugar enjoys eating from them. Sometimes she'll play with them, which is a plus I wanted because a bored bird is an unhappy bird. Sometimes she won't, but like the silverware previously, these always end up (intact or in pieces), at the bottom of her cage. They go out when the cage is cleaned and we are both happy with this new introduction to our routine. They're also very inexpensive for their use both as spoons and as occasional toys without the use of any plastic. I expect to continue to buy these for a long time.l

I bought these spoons to dish out cat food, since I didn't want to use my nice kitchen spoons on chicken puree, but I also didn't want to buy plastic spoons that would take millenia to biodegrade.They are pretty much as they appear, thin wooden planks formed into a spoon shape. They're really just a popsicle stick with a wider end, so I'm not sure how sturdy they would be for more than a few minutes, but for my use, they were perfect. Using them more than once would definitely be out of the question.At $10 for 100 of them, they're certainly kinda pricey for what you get, but, you know what you're getting when you buy them.

My bf and my bedroom is on the 3rd floor of the house, and we keep our cats up there. We feed them there, but there isn’t any plumbing, so dirty metal spoons kept piling up. I didn’t want to get plastic, so I searched for other biodegradable options and these do the trick well! Sturdy, and great to use stinky cat food when there’s no sink!

The media could not be loaded. I only got this to save planet but its expensive. I get 1000 plastic spoons in the same price. One more thing I noticed then when u keep it dip in hot water, tea or coffee it become straight like a spatula and it has a wooden taste that adds in the tea as well..

Nice product, bought these for desserts at a BBQ instead of the usual plastic kind. They are a little shallow but other than that, no complaints from the peanut gallery and I happy knowing when these are thrown away they will eventually biodegrade.
