Easy to use. Fragrance is subtle. Not overwhelming. Works well in bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and family room. Beads dry up to let you know when replacement is needed.

I love these things. The eliminate odors without having any outright smell of their own unless you are up close. This is a PLUS in my opinion. In area with higher air flow, these things to not last more than a month before the beads are dried up (like on my bedroom shelf underneath a ceiling fan that runs 24/7). But the funky smells that used to linger in that room every morning are gone now, so to me it’s worth the $3-4 I pay for one jar!Edit: I’ve purchased these a few times now and with the most recent purchase (Jan 2020) I received a different product. The first few were ALL blue balls. This time it’s half blue and half clear. This new formula or what-have-you is not working as well. I’ve noticed odors returning to rooms where these previously did the trick, and the gel balls are not slowly shrinking over time as they have in the past, indicating odor being absorbed. Knocking off a star. I’ll add it back if I purchase again and get the original, better-functioning product.Edited again to show comparison. Item on the left is the newer version, on the right is the older version. Both set out for the same amount of time in the same room as a control. As you can see, they act very differently. Not sure why the change but I won’t be buying again unless the seller can guarantee the better product.

The Renuzit air freshener I usually got from Bolo increased in price, so I figured I'd try this brand since it was available with a Subscribe & Save discount. I got a two-pack and put one in each bathroom. They do nothing. The gel beads smell good if you sniff the jar, but they do nothing to eliminate or even cover up your average bathroom odors. And my bathrooms are small--about 100 sq ft each--so it's not like the scent was being stretched too thin. On top of that, when I pulled the plastic-wrapped two-pack out of the Bolo box and removed the plastic, I found that the gel beads had leaked and gotten the back labels on the jars wet. They stuck together, and when I pulled them apart, the printed text on both labels got ripped off, so I have no idea what they might have said. I won't be renewing my subscription to Clear Air Odor Eliminator Gel Beads.

I have a Down Syndrome son that chews on his stuffed toys making his room smell AWFUL!!! I've tried a countless number of odor eliminators and air fresheners. They either didn't work or had an odor that was way too strong for a small bedroom. This is the first thing I've found that works! The odor is a little overpowering at first but calms quickly. The Hawiian Shore has a very faint pleasant orange scent to it. I will be using this product for as long as it's available!

The scent doesn't last very long after opening, I know it's not because of going nose blind to the scent because when I asked my sister who hadn't visited my dorm room in a few weeks/months, and she said she was not able to smell it. The space is obviously very small so it's not an issue of the smell not being able to travel through the whole space of the room. If you're in a pinch and need to buy this anyways, I will say the scent is very pleasant, I got the cotton one.

I’ve been using this product for some time….I have a musty basement issue…My home office and man/den are down there….For many years I used spray products that only lasted for a short time…What I like about this Clear Air method is that it’s not an exaggerated scent…I just open the lid and it quietly defeats the musty smell for a good long time …
