5.0 out of 5 stars Better Twang for Your Buck
I'm a novice archer and got these as my first real collection of target arrows. The proshop I got sold me way overpriced arrows that didn't have the spine rating for what I shoot and wobbled all over the place. I got these for the price ($2.33 an arrow at time of writing), but have not been disappointed. They're not the best arrows, especially for experienced archers and hunters (I'd imagine). The heads have a tendency to come out without a little TLC, and the flights are a little janky on delivery. But for the price, you could be doing far, far worse from what I've seen. I shoot a 30# 31" and, for Spine 500, these seem to fly much straighter than the arrows I was sold from the proshop for $10 an arrow (I think they're spine 200 or thereabouts, they seem extremely "light" by comparison).I think my biggest complaint is that the while the heads themselves screw into the shaft, the object they screw into (not sure what the technical term is) is a fitted cylinder that has been hammered into the shaft. This cylinder is what has a tendency to come out when removing the arrow from a target. So far I've fixed a couple of my arrows by simply smearing the inside of the shaft with gorilla glue and then reinserting the cylinder. If you're new to archery and/or need some cheap target arrows you just want to use over and over again, I would recommend these in a heartbeat. They're sturdy, extremely affordable for a starting archer, and seem to work well for the advertised draw range. They're not amazing, but they're incredibly convenient for the purposes I've bent them towards, and you cannot beat the price per arrow.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price
To start this review off, I will say that don't go shooting for the stars in your expectations of these arrows. I know, the manufacturer knows, and you will soon know that these aren't the greatest arrows you can purchase. That isn't a condemnation of the arrows or even necessarily a fault because I knew what I was buying ahead of time. These are cheap arrows, but they are well-made cheap arrows. As you can see in the attached picture, I have nailed the pieces of wood along the perimeter of my target. Many times. None of them have broken from nailing the wood. On ones that went particularly deep, I have had that cores come out, but that is an easy fix with a little bit of adhesive. I did crack two of them when my shot when too low and I struck the cinder blocks the target was resting on, but that was my own fault, not the fault of the arrows.Prior to these, I had purchased a decent set of Easton arrows and I can tell the difference between the two. These arrows are larger than my Easton arrows that are rated as being the same, namely a difference in weight with these being slightly heavier. Not sure how much it affects anything, but it is noticeable. I also can't say for sure that the 500-grain spec is actually true as I am not an expert in archery. I have only just recently picked up the hobby and am learning as I go. Between the two, I much prefer my Easton arrows, but that does not mean I don't like these arrows. For the price, you can't really go wrong with buying arrows from Tiger Archery. For the same price, I bought only 6 Easton arrows. Yeah, you can tell there is a difference between the two, but I have shot these arrows hundreds of times so far and have to say that I am pretty happy with the purchase. If you are a beginner and looking for arrows that you can freely practice with without worrying that you are going to destroy an expensive set, these are the arrows for you. I have put these through the wringer and so far I have only put one or two out of commission. Consider these a stepping stone on your journey to becoming a better archer. As you skill with the bow increases, so should your quality of arrows. These are great for now and will possibly end up buy another set in the future.
Long Lasting Arrows!
I've shot these training arrows hundreds if not thousand of times, they do tend to be quite wobbly, make sure to use the proper bow with these. They are COMPOUND BOW Arrows, don't be fooled by the reviews, its 500 spine too.
Satisfacción
Perfectamente lo que pedí
Great for the cost
The packaging is the best I've seen thus farly. They have foam spacers that holds the arrows in a bundle which protects the vanes from bending or bunching which is stellar compared to some arrows I've ordered in the past that in comparison it's like apples to oranges if the oranges were rotting fuzzy and smell of garbage packaging practices--which stinks ftr. They even included 6 extra knocks with a little card that also serves as a target, it's genius! The arrows are nice and bright (if you get the brightly colored ones, which I did) so if you so happen to lob one miles off target you won't have to look to hard to find it as the bright vane color is basically a beacon of brightness (get the Chad green or yellow ones and not the beta black or dim colored ones) The price is great for the quality, I got more than I can lose or break in a year and will buy again.
Buen producto
Muy buenas y a muy buen precio
Good Arrows For the Price
These are good arrows for the price. A little heavier than most other carbon (If you wanna call it that) arrows. At 500 grains they are definitely not the lightest but are durable (for the most part) and come ready to shoot.I'm pretty new to archery myself but firing quite a few at a youth target they all seemed to group pretty accurately but will wobble with a lower tension draw (at distance) due to weight I'm assuming. I did flatten a tip with a miss once, could have been a rock it hit most likely. Never damaged a fletching either on a number of misses at range. No issues with any of the arrows on transport. All the fletchings were intact and pristine. They also include 6 extra nocks which is nice.My friend unintentionally put one of his Blackout X5's through the shaft of one of these (picture) at around 40-50 yds out when the target fell over. Didn't even know that was possible! But sure looks like fiberglass to me on the inside. I'll let you be the judge if you buy them. I can't really bash them too much for the price though. All around, solid arrows for the price.
