Dogs especially, are creatures of habit and require both safe and effective deterrents. Dog MACE is the most powerful form of all-natural dog control available. It’s your natural solution, easy to use and guaranteed to work! Dog MACE is all natural and contains no chemical or poisons. You can safely use Dog MACE on yard, vegetable gardens, landscapes, patios, garbage cans, campsites, parks, picnic areas, and car tires. Mix 8 to 12 ounces of concentrate with (1) gallon of water and shake well before every use. Shake well before every use. Apply liberally to areas where stray dogs defecate. Repeat process daily for the first week and then once a week thereafter for maximum protection. Store in a cool dry place. Do not let freeze. Important tip: Before using the repellent, be sure to clean up the area’s dogs are urinating/defecating in. Dogs are territorial and are frequently attracted to another animal’s scent. They also get accustomed to “going” in the same area, especially if it’s their territory. You should clean the area to establish control, and then use the repellent so that they won’t return to mark their territory.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
Pet mace works wonders. It stops pets from urinitaing on my flowers causing them to die. Thank you for this product pet mace
1.0 out of 5 stars Wish I could give zero stars
Don’t work, I’ve called support and no answer and left a voicemail. I also sent an email. immediately upon using my dog goes straight to the spots I’ve sprayed and begins chewing. No matter if it’s dry or wet. I want a refund.
3.0 out of 5 stars Product itself is good but…
I have been using Dog Mace for about a year now and was running low in my smaller bottle… I didn’t really like the nozzle on the smaller bottle as it doesn’t always spray consistently well. So I went ahead and ordered this larger bottle with a different sprayer… And low and behold this larger bottle has a WORSE sprayer that barely functions at all!! So I ended up pouring it into the smaller bottle to even be able to use it. Overall I think Dog Mace seems to work though (if you can get past the poor quality sprayers). I have a ton of dogs in my neighborhood that used to literally line up to pee on my mailbox (and small garden around it). Most dogs do seem to avoid the mailbox when I spray Dog Mace around it so for my money it’s definitely better than nothing. Another drawback is that it only seems to work with daily application. I’d like to give this product a higher rating but they’re 2 for 2 with god awful sprayers so far so 3/5 stars is what I say. Also it takes a lot of regular application to even work— and it’s not 100% effective. I’d recommend this if you have a small area in your yard where a lot of dogs pee and hope to slow down the trend. If you want a 100% solution to dogs peeing on your property then this product is not for you.
4.0 out of 5 stars Requires numerous applications
I used this so far for two applications of this product. My dog still urinates and poops in certain of the areas sprayed. My grass has died in certain areas and those are the areas he will not go in.
5.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be a great deterrent
Once a dog pees on your grass, all of the others do as well. This stuff works. You have to actually follow instructions and re-spray often enough for the 'mark' to be washed away. But it's worth using.
1.0 out of 5 stars Utterly worthless product - complete waste of money
Not only was the dog not "repelled" by Dog Mace, it seemed to actually enjoy the scent and rolled around in the artificial grass that was treated with it.And you can skip trying cayenne pepper, or vinegar because neither have worked either.EDIT: Without prompting from me, aside from the 1 star rating, the company REFUNDED the complete purchase price of this product. That speaks to its integrity and is greatly appreciated.
2.0 out of 5 stars effectiveness
The pump quite functioning before the product was even half full..worthless! Not sure if product worked as there were signs dogs were in the yard. I have no dogs at this time, so it was from others. :(
5.0 out of 5 stars Ok
Did not detail my dogs feom peeing on back porch.
