We buy a few of the Lundberg rice varieties. My favorite is their Jasmine (purple bag) but we also buy the Basmati (red bag) and the Long Grain (green bag).The rice is fantastic. No broken pieces. No mold. No pebbles. No chaff. It cooks up perfectly with the 3:2 stovetop and 1:1 pressure cooker water:rice ratios.The jasmine and basmati are so fragrant! Just lovely.We buy this by the case because it is so much better than the supermarket price.The only thing I don't like about it is the packaging. It is substantial with a velcro like reusable seal. This might sound really nice but the way the opening works makes it hard to get the rice out. That's my only issue with this rice. I've been ordering this rice for years because it is grown with less arsenic than other rice. And it tastes great.

I love this rice. I also know greater care is taken to keep arsenic to a minimum. If you’re a ricer like me try Lundberg rice. It’s delicious.

Excellent product at a great price. If you consume a lot of rice, saving a few dollars ordering in bulk adds up. Save even more with Subscribe & Save!Try the following method :1) Preheat Oven to 3502) Measure rice into oven proof dish, I use corning ware.3) Bring the amount of water listed minus 1/4 cup to a boil (the back mentions 1.5 cups water / 1 cup rice, I do 1.25 cups water)4) Pour boiling water into dish with rice, stir, cover with tight fitting lid or foil. ( I add salt, butter, etc at this step ).5) Cook 35 minutes. Once finished, remove from oven, let sit 15 minutes (covered). Flush with a fork and server!I do this in a toaster oven, your mileage may vary.

The price just keeps going up on these bags of rice. The price has become ridiculous and a lot of the rice by Lundberg isn't even organic. But the rice tastes great and, other than the price, I'm happy with the product. It's gluten-free, which of course rice itself is, but some places package rice in the same building in which they package products with gluten, so I'm glad to know this is actually gluten-free. (If I could find an alternative, I would switch to something else because of the cost.)

My family has eaten several packages of this rice already, as we have included it in our Subscribe and Save Subscription. Three out four of my family members have multiple food sensitivities, and we really like that Lundberg rice products are pure with no cross contaminating grains or other foods in their rice products, making it safe for our family to eat. The Jasmine rice is a great rice that I usually cook with Asian type dishes, and I use the Basmati type rice in other types of dishes. Everyone in our family likes it. I have also ordered this rice outside of my Subscribe and Save Subscription, and it arrives within a few days. Either way I have ordered it, the rice has arrived promptly and well packaged in a box which is easy to open. All bags have arrived intact which is important to me as I don't want to eat rice from damaged packages, especially with the food sensitivity issue in our home. I recommend this rice and I plan on ordering many more bags of it in the future.
