These bottles are big and I hate that I had to open each bottle just to try each as the first time purchase. I wish the manufacturer had included a small sample of each variety. Now, I have 3 bottles of syrup that I must consume in 6 months. Challenge accept but...manufacturer, please read this!The two light syrups are very close in flavor. The lightest syrup is only slightly milder than the middle variety. The dark is definitely dark and is what I have been looking for my entire life in maple syrup. When I was a kid we used to eat a very dark syrup, not maple because we were poor, but a dark syrup that had a flavor I will not ever forget. The dark version of this syrup is the same. You immediately notice that it is not your standard, buy anywhere maple syrup. It gets your attention in the best way. It enhances the flavor of already delicious Brussels Waffles.Overall, all of the syrups in this pack are wonderful. There is not one that I would say, don't try. I would say if your breakfast item is piled high with a lot of sugary, sweet toppings go with the light version so that you get the maple flavor that compliments your toppings. If you are eating plain pancakes or waffles go with the dark so that you can truly savor the rich, deep flavor of the syrup.

I will continue to buy only their products from now on.The product is great.The customer service is great.I was looking for the chemical free product that would have freshness seal under the cap. Not only it had the seal, but also it had the vacuum shrink wrap on outside.When I was doing my shopping around I was shocked how many reputable companies put artificial taste enhancers and preservatives into their Maple Syrup.The Escuminac Canadian Maple Syrup tastes pure joy!Nowadays a lot of products come smelling of disinfectants and give people severe indigestions.Thank you for keeping your products save and high quality.I recommend it to everybody!

Syrups have truly risen up from being your average pancake & waffle sauce to being that extra ingredient that gives dinner and drinks an extra oomph. There are syrups, then there are SYRUPS. The Escuminac line is the latter, I adore the extra rare so imagine my delight when I found these being sold in threes! I've purchased 2 packs for a total of 6 500 ml bottles & plan to hand these out as presents. These came carefully packaged in beautiful bottles with the wax seals, and with the Escuminac reindeer logo, it couldn't be more appropriate for the holidays.I also purchased a bunch of the Escuminac maple butter spread. Having spent a lot of time in Canada the past few years, I've really come to love the amazing range of organic products the country offers but always found shipping to be a bit pricey. I bought these from Doiron Gourmet foods & they went out of their way to make sure I had what I wanted. This is a great gift item on it's own or as part of a gift basket, I'd definitely buy it again.

There is simply no substitute for REAL maple syrup! Canadian Maple Syrup is all that I will use for pancakes, waffles, etc. No one does makes syrup better in my opinion! The fake stuff you get in the store that's loaded with artificial flavors and sugar and high fructose content just isn't the same and it's unhealth for you. True organic maple is all that I will ever use! :]

Best Maple Syrup. Ever.
I love maple syrup and have tried various brands and versions... and have to say this is the best... so far. I have the three bottle set and have only tried the Great Harvest. Dont want to open the others until need. And oh my, how good is the Great Harvest? Awesome... simply, awesome. Sweet without being overpowering, smooth and delicious, delicious, delicious.Cannot be sure, but having the syrup in glass bottles may make a difference. Will update my review when I get round to the other two bottles in the set, especially looking forward to the 'rare'.
