Herbion Naturals Ivy Leaf Syrup with Thyme is a powerful all-natural expectorant. Suitable for adults and kids 13 months and above, this Syrup soothes throat and helps relieve respiratory discomfort, while promoting bronchial health. The kid-friendly formula is alcohol free, gluten free, nut free, non-sedative and free of artificial colors. Our sugar free formula is sweetened with Stevia, a natural sweetener. Infants 13 months to under 6 years should be given ½ teaspoon 2 times a day. Children 6 to under 12 years should be given 1 teaspoon 2 times a day. Adults and children over 12 years should take 1 teaspoon thrice daily.

It far exceeds anything you can buy over the counter in drug stores and anything i have ever got from the doctor that didn't have codeine in it. In fact, it works even better than what i've ever received via prescription. A bit on the too sweet side though.... i recommend rinsing your mouth afterwards.

Purchased this syrup in desperation, to help a friend who lives near a mega-sized agro-business which incorporates about 1000 acres of heavily sprayed mono-culture fields. My friend could not even talk on the phone for more than a few minutes, because of a horrible, wheezing, gasping for breath cough. On "spraying days" he could not talk at all. Mask wearing seemed to make everything worse.I had an idea that any product containing extract of English Ivy leaf would be helpful, so I purchased, sent, and then checked in for a report. His response after one week of trying this syrup (spoonful in water, once or twice each day) was: "Helpful. I feel better. Tried some in water and my throat and lungs have been all right." Spraying has continued, but so far he has not had another awful coughing event.This product work excellently well, for this person. I highly recommend a test of a very small amount in some water, just to test for possible allergic reactions to the ingredients. For a bad, wheezing, lasting-too-long cough, try this product. (And also, avoid use of harsh cleaning products with ammonia and other lung-irritating ingredients. Keep yourself far away, if you can, from gigantic, corporate agro-businesses, with their lung-choking chemical-spray stuff).

This stuff is much better than typical OTC cough syrup. Also, it has a great herbal flavor, not sugary or artificial.

The box had obviously been opened and the inner safety seal around the cap was mostly broken. I took the cap off to inspect and the cough syrup looked unusually foamy. I do not feel safe taking this as I suspect it may have been tampered with. Unfortunately, I can't return it or get a refund.

this is fast acting and effective for the occasional allergy coughs that always seem to bother me most when i'm trying to go to sleep. when that happens i just reach into the nightstand drawer, take a small dose, and nod off to sleep. i have no idea if it would be as effective for a cold as i haven't had one since before i started using this.

Ive had 2 viruses within 1 month. I found this was a great alternative to sugary linctuses. It tastes nice and for me it settles my cough until the next dose is due. Recommend
