The price for this kitchen utensil is very nice for a sturdy product made of metal. Works just as expected. Fine spaghetti gets stuck in between the concentric spokes, but for rigatoni, dumplings, shrimp, and such, no problem.Sometimes you cannot find this item at your local retailer, whether they do not carry it or out of stock. If you need one promptly this item will ship quickly if you have Bolo Prime, sometimes even within hours of purchase. That worked well in my favor!

OMG this is big. Yes, they state the bowl diameter but somehow I confused that with circumference. Wow. This baby is almost as big as the cast iron pan I was going to fish potatoes out of. Wow. Did I mention it is huge? I don't see a smaller one made by this line which is a shame because it is seems otherwise quite nice and I would pick up a smaller one if not for the flaw I outline below.The reason I am taking off the star is not because of the size which is my fault. It is because of the loop at the top. It is well, thick, and it won't hook on to any of the different hooks I have in the kitchen area. This is also too big to fit into any of the little "pretend" drawers in this h*llhole's kitchen area so I guess it will be spending time in one of my clothing drawers. I don't fry potatoes often since they are so messy in the pretend kitchen. But still a quandary as to where to store this.They need to do something about that hook loop. The thickness of it is just impractical I think with most hooks, even in nice kitchens. And since it is so big, it is not practical for even real drawers except maybe if you have a deep pan kind like I had when I lived in a nice place.Nice quality. Make sure you have a storage place for it.

I never owned a spider strainer, but I love it. I use it all the time now, but I’m making stew and soups all kinds of things. It’s very versatile. They’re very handy to have this of really good quality and the price was great. I would definitely recommend people buying this if they if they cook a lot.

works great for deep fryer
We are using this for scooping fries/onion rings/wings out of our turkey deep fryer. Working well so far. Had bought it for the price while we look for something longer, but finding this is doing the job

Really good and well constructed also.
I bought both the 5.4 inch and the 7 inch strainers, but to be honest the 5.4 inch is far more useful and I expect it to be the strainer I reach for 90% of the time I need to use a strainer. Both are really well constructed though and should give years of good service. Very good value for money also, given how well they're made as well. I can definitely recommend them.
