These sandals are really cute. It took me a few tries to get them on correctly as there are several straps going different directions. These are not quick slip on sandals like flip-flops. Once you have worn them a few times the straps stay where they should be and they're easy to put on.They are fairly comfortable. There is obviously no support as they are flat, but I wore them for an entire day of walking at a Renaissance fair on uneven ground and it was not until the end of the day my feet started to get a little sore from the straps. I have wide feet, D width, and they fit across my foot perfectly. I usually wear a 6 1/2. They didn't have half sizes so I think I went with a 6. A size 7 would have been too big.They appear to be pretty well-made. I live in Florida and wear sandals pretty much year-round so they will definitely be put to the test. If they turn out to be less than expected, I will update my review.

Plaka oceanside. Usually wear 9-9.5 for sandals. Measured my foot against wall as directed. 10inches. Took a chance, ordered 9. Perfect fit the way I like without extra length on either end but just right. Feet are narrow, flat, hard to fit and often have tailored/cut/sewn straps on other brands. The braids are very adaptable and immediately take to your foot like custom and would easily accommodate wider plumper feet with more instep. .. but work for my feet great. The braids have wonderful suppleness and adaptability right away and the sole is comfy though no real arch...so far just walking around the house. Will glue in a cloth arch if needed.Bought another pair in another color the day I got these. Love them. Very nice look/style/color...blue/grey

I wear size 10, ordered a 10 and they fit nicely. I will be using these on our vacation next week. I won't be using them for a ton of walking so I can't comment on if they're good for long distant walking, but so far pretty comfortable too and very cute!

nicely made and attractive but very difficult to put on. very tight and narrow. unable to use once moisture gets on shoes. binding material seemed to shrink.

These sandals are very pretty & look just like the picture but for me the tiny straps are very uncomfortable. You might have a different experience. I returned them.

Love them!!! So attractive. They fit as expected. I wore them all day and no problems. The part between the toes is material so no pinching. Great sandals.

I love the color (cornflower) and the softness of the knitting in this design. The fit is very good on my feet after a slight adjustment so my feet move forward and are snug and less likely to move around since there is no back strap (which I wanted). There is NO 'give' in the sole of these but it isn't like walking directly on the floor either. They seem to be molding to my feet making them more comfortable. The insoles of the cornflower is a fabric and brisk walking can give one a good foot scrub. I thought of buying another of this type but ended up buying 2 other Plaka designs instead. I definitely look forward to continued use of these sandals next year. They appear to be hand washable and have a fabric storage bag to keep them together for easy travel or storage. They are well made, had no odor when I opened the package or at anytime since, and I purchased them at a reduced price.

These sandals are as nice as they look in the picture however the soles are thin and very hard so I don't know how they will be to walk around or wear for several hours.

It was exactly what I was looking for. Service was quick and the width and length is perfect. They are very comfortable and stylish.
Terrible
Ordered these for holidays, they took a while to come and impossible to get my small size 4 feet in, also ordered for my daughter in a 6 in a different colour and she had the same problem, over priced too, when we got on holiday we found loads of these at half the price !
