5.0 out of 5 stars Very Practical
I saw this pan featured on Freakin' Reviews. As someone who makes pasta literally almost every day, I was immediately sold. This pan has been used well over a hundred times, and it may be one of the best purchases I've made.Draining Pasta with the locking lid is far easier, and it saves on space, dishes and cleanup time.I highly recommend the product as it has saved me so much time and effort, and shows no signs of wear so far.If I had to pick a critique with it, I would say it'd be nice if the water drained from the pot just a little faster. It does drain a little slow with some pasta types(angel hair especially), and if you tilt it too far while there's still a lot of water in it, the water can slip out the side by the handles and risks burning your hands. I have had this happen and while I do consider it user error, it'd be nice if the design allowed for this impatient pouring.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pot!
Non stick and perfect for draining meat
5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile & Useful
Have been using it for 4 months. Tried this pot for pasta, vegetables, ground beef, and sauces. Smooth and toxin-free surface, and easy to drain. This is a great investment and helps use fewer kitchenware items. Easy to hand wash. Use oven mitts to transport it to the sink from the stove. Pour liquid away from you, as it gets quite steamy.
4.0 out of 5 stars A convenient and reliable product
I use it to cook pasta and rice noodles for a large family for a few weeks now.Procs:Easy to drain the water as it advertised. The lock feature works easily and great.Easy to clean.Appears to be very anti-scratch. I am using stainless steel spoon to get the noodles in the pot, and I don't see any scratches on it so far (I will review this one a few months later).Cons:The pot edge handles are very hot when I need to drain the water, so I have to wear thick gloves to hold the pot. This is NOT a pure stainless steel pot so I expected that its hard plastic handles can be heatproof, but I am wrong.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heats water fast
I use the pot once a week for pasta. The locking lid is a big advantage when I empty the boiling water into the sink thru the lid drain holes. Good quality. The lid is glass so I can see if there is any water left in the pan. It’s a beautiful shade of blue, performs well and handles are comfortable.
5.0 out of 5 stars non-stick pot thats perfect for pasts. handles swivel to drain water.
i already owned one. i liked it so much i bought one for my daughter. it eliminates the need for a strainer. you can cook the pasta, lock the lid with the swivel handles and drain the pasta. its simple and non stick. i cant see me using anything else. great design.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great and nonstick
The nonstick actually works like intended, the pot is a decent size and can fit an entire pack of spaghetti or pasta. I have also used this for soup, mac and cheese, and chili and it held its end. I bought a second one to give to my partner and he loves it just as much. Love that I no longer need a separate strainer and how durable this pot is.
5.0 out of 5 stars I ALMOST returned it!
Glad I gave this pot a try! I expected and wanted the 5 quart to be bigger. When I first took it out of box I thought it was too small and that it had to go back. But I decided to test it out, to see if I could mix the potatoes without scratching it plus I wanted to see if it was big enough to cook 5 pound of potatoes without needing to get out a strainer AND separate mixing bowl. Kitchen is small. Sink is small. Needing 3 large items to prepare one dish clutters the space and is more to wash! So I gave this cute red pot a try and so glad I did! The whole 5 pounds fit! And draining was a breeze, didn't even need pot holders. Lid was safely secure while dumping water out. And the beaters didn't scratch the finish! Meanwhile this pot is super light. Potatoes cooked quickly. Steam was controlled. Washing was easy. Love this thing! And the icing on the cake is that since the pot is smallish and easy to clean, I actually reach for it to heat up leftovers and such, too! I thought I was just getting something for making pasta and potatoes but looks like it's going to be used far more.
Cooks fast
easy to drain. Easy to clean . Nice looking
Exactly What I Needed!
My daughter, her fiancé and their kids just moved back in with me, going from pasta for one to pasta for five made my old pot exponentially heavier! Struggling with a colander and a heavy pot was too much. This pot is amazing and holds surprisingly more than I expected! It’s light weight, straining holes and locking lid are perfect! Highly recommend!
Lindisima y práctica
Me parece súper práctica el único detalle es que es un poco chica pero está muy linda
Great pot
Lightweight and easy to clean. Perfect pasta pot with the locking lid to drain. Love it. Don’t have to lift a heavy pot and then to take the inside out to drain like my other one. Cooked other foods in it other than pasta and no problems at all. Exact colour that I wanted. Good buy
