I recently purchased the Basecamp Bike Helmet (BC-10) for my mother who recently purchased an EBike and I’m thoroughly impressed! This helmet offers exceptional comfort and protection, making it a great choice for both men and women. The standout feature, however, is the LED safety light. The visibility cannot be beat! Whether cycling during the day or at night, the LED light adds an extra layer of security, ensuring you're seen from a distance.The helmet itself is incredibly lightweight and adjustable, providing a secure and comfortable fit. This helmet has exceeded my most optimistic expectations. I believe some of the negative reviews that I have read are for a different product. This helmet has better fit, comfort, cooling and finish than my far more expensive Giro helmet. It took less than two minutes to get it adjusted to a perfect fit after unboxing it. The color of this product is so much more vivid than the picture. The visor was black instead of white and looks much nicer. The removable lining's padding is higher quality than my Giro, the helmet is lighter than my Giro, and has a bug net to keep the critters from nesting in your hair. Okay about the rear light... it took a few tries to get the light to work until I realized the clear plastic cover has to be pressed hard enough to deflect and allow contact with the internal switch. I'm really going to get a lot of use out of this incredibly inexpensive helmet. I'm a 6 foot tall husky dude with average head size and this helmet can still be adjusted to be loose on my head. Bolo shipped this product in a box with plastic bubble wrap to keep the helmet from damage. I recently purchased another road bike and this color scheme is a perfect match. I love the fact that there is no 'basecamp' logo.

The helmet is light weight and easy to adjust for a proper fit. I was expecting a smooth high gloss finish. It is not high gloss. If you are going to be riding and need a visor for the sun, this is not the helmet. The visor that comes with it does not fit the helmet. This was something I was looking for but as the other reviews mention, I should have heeded, the visor is worthless.

Pros:-Looked good.-Felt light.-Straps looked good and felt strong.-The light was big and worked fine. On/Off worked fine (a tiny bit stiff).-Although I did not get a chance to use it, it looked like it was well constructed (just a visual observation).Cons:-Did not feel very comfortable, just ok (for me anyway).-Fit was ok, not great. After adjusting the dial system in the back and using the straps, there was still space on the sides (between the helmet and my head) for the helmet to move around.-The two holes for adjusting to different head forms on the inside of the helmet is a useless option... If you have to use this option, then you are only using one of the two holes for one of the two tabs and the other tab has no other hole to fit into and is just resting against the helmet.....looked and felt odd. Also, the strength of the mounting is greatly reduced with only using one of the two mounting holes in my opinion.-The visor had two flaws. It only had one mounting tab on one side and not the other. Also, even if it had the other tab, the visor was too small and would not even reach the mounting hole on the opposite side (see pics).I returned this helmet for two reasons: 1) Because I felt that the amount of movement of the helmet on my head after making all available adjustments was too much and posed a safety risk if I ever had an accident. 2) Because I could not use/mount the visor on the helmet, which I liked and wanted.

Llegó muy bien, muy buenos materiales, funciona todo muy bien, muy cómodo y seguro. Estoy satisfecho.
A good helmet
It is a good helmet; not heavy and ventilation is great. Its colours are as per the photo which is good. The light in the back of the helmet works well and used the light of some 6 rides (each is one hour ride) and is still working well with no need to charge. I gave it 4 stars only as I have not yet tested the light battery life and whether changing the battery is easy or not.

Bien el casco, cubre para algo sencillo pero no si sales a algo más rudo.. el unicel que tiene por dentro se ve frágil.
