This phone stand is very durable, made of high quality aluminum. The joints are tight so it stays in the position that you put it in. The base is solid and has a nice rubber base that does not slide around. The part where you rest the phone has access for a charging cord (Samsung). It would me nice if they have a model that has built in wireless charging. Other than that - Fully recommend.

I'm over 70. My hands were going into lockup from holding my phone while I read articles or watch videos or try to type on my PC. This device keeps my phone at the right angle all the time. I loved mine so much I bought a second one for my husband. Expensive but very quality device and sooooo useful!

Even at $40, this item is fantastic. It is sturdy, rugged, and certainly does what it purports to do. I was pleasantly surprised because I thought I might be buying a wimpy little holder and would need to return it. As soon as I opened the box I knew better. Really, truly a great buy.

I have tried numerous iPad stands over the last few months. This one is the best by far. It is well constructed. very well balanced, and built like a tank! I also owned the previous version of this stand. This one is a significant improvement. It’s much less prone to wobbling when the device is being suspended in the version before it. It also looks extremely professional. It supports both iPads and phones extremely well. I highly recommend the R1.

Foldable and light weight yet sturdy, sleek and elegant design (Doubled as laptop stand as well, but not so sturdy due to the weight of the laptop, better use with external keyboard and mouse to avoid wobble)I had the first stand for a few years and I used to think it's an ok stand, but after I compared many stands through out the years I feel like this is the one that I use more often, only complain is the material used on the hinge (the shiny part) they look good on the picture, but they are not so good quality actually.Overall, I recommend this stand.

Boy of boy...by first feel its definitely quality. Very rigid and sturdy. Now...I must say that this is right out of the box. The first thing I thought of when I was adjusting the orientation was that I hope it lasts and not loosen in any way. That is my only fear because once that happens this will become flimsy and just sway back and forth. But again, that has not been proven yet. To me its really too big for just a phone. Though you can put one in the cradle. I have a iPhone 10S Max. To me its better built for my iPad Pro 12.9. For right now this is GREAT!!

Nice, sturdy dock for my iPad mini
I bought this to use my iPad mini in portrait mode beside my MacBook pro 14", it's a perfect fit. I bought some 90 degree USB cables so I can lower the stand so it aligns with the monitor and it's a great setup. The hinges are sturdy yet flexible so I am able to get the angle and height I want and the stand itself has a pretty small footprint.
