5.0 out of 5 stars Horse is amazing…assembly instructions are horrible
This is a beautiful horse that well made, sturdy and very safe for the grandkids. They absolutely love it. But the assembly instructions are horrible. In black and white so extreme difficult to tell what some parts are, where they go and so on. We thought we had put it together several times only to find pieces that we hadn’t used yet…so we had to disassemble and start again. But once we used all the pieces in the correct locations, horse was incredible. Kids love riding, but definitely not enough room for a 4 year old and a 2 year old to ride at the same time. Would definitely buy again! Has all the safety features you could ask for and then some. Nice job Radio Flyer…just work on improving the instructions.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy
It was a little difficult (by myself) to get the legs securely attached to the body, but with help it was done quickly. Once put together the rocking horse is very sturdy and looks great. Our granddaughter fell in love with it at first sight!
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy rocking horse. Sounds are not too loud.
Difficult to put together, but whether it in the end’
5.0 out of 5 stars Great toy, well-made and safe for children to ride.
My granddaughter loves horses, and we wanted something special for her 2nd birthday and boy was this a great find for her. She loves the ride, the sounds and feeding the carrot to her special friend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
This arrived quickly and in perfect condition and all parts included. Easy to assemble, took 20 minutes. I do feel that the price is a bit high for plastic and metal but I’d probably spend more to make my grand babies happy. The only thing I can complain about is that the carrot crunching sound does not work consistently. Sometimes it works other times it doesn’t. Also the delay in the noises is a little disappointing. It takes a good 3-5 seconds for the noises to begin after movement begins which sounds petty but it’s a little annoying lol.Other than the high price and the carrot crunching not always working my grand daughter absolutely LOVES her Chestnut.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and grand daughter enjoys it!
Quality toy and easy to assemble with detailed and easy instructions. (hint: some parts are inside the chest cavity of the toy). This ride toy is sturdy, stable, and is typical expectation from radio flyer.Only complaint is the method of which it details "eating" the carrot. It uses a photo cell that sensing light, when carrot is inserted into the mouth, it gets dark, then the horse "weighs"....it also "weighs" when the lights are turned off, or someone walks by and casts a shadow. Not a big deal, but would have been better with just a pressure switch IMO.

Perfect gift for my grands.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pain to put together alone... but worth it!
I had one of these horses when I was a kid and loved it. Got this as a Christmas present for my 3 almost 4 year old. I finally put it all together by myself yesterday. It was difficult to get the bolts in to secure the bar through the legs and body, I almost gave up until I could get another set of hands to help. You really need pressure from the opposite side to get the pieces to fit together tightly, so the screws will line up with holes to hold them in place. With frustration and difficulty I awkwardly kind of used the floor and squeezed and got it done. I did think about crying during this time. Point being, plan to have another set of hands. I put in batteries and tested that portion out prior to assembly just to make sure all would work when put together. It does! I like that it has straps bolted in place between horse and frame, that parallel the springs, as a safety measure. There is no way my kid will be dumped off in the case of a loose spring. (All that is hidden under the no-pinch fabric safety covers.) Also glad to get a toy that will help burn off excess energy. This toy is so adorable and interactive. The fabric on the body just puts it over the top. Purchased the "Freckles" version. I cannot wait till Christmas morning now!
Very sturdy

Love Radio Flyer products!
This was a birthday gift for my 2 year old grandson. He loves it! It’s a very sturdy horse and was easy to assemble. The noises it makes could be louder, but it’s still an awesome toy.
