To use for cough suppression rub a thick layer on throat and chest, then cover with a warm dry cloth if desired. To use for minor muscle and joint aches and pains apply to affected area not more than three to four times daily.

Personally I don't find a difference between regular vicks and this other than the price. Still very effective for coughing and soar legs/growing pains. Next time I'll save my money and get the regular stuff.
