I’m copying here the question/ consultation I emailed to Ancestral Suplements.Bryan the owner answered quickly and professionally; gave me great advice.I’m also copying Brian’s answer. In case it helps anyone.I never write reviews but I really feel I need to share about this amazing products and customer service! Brian really goes the extra yard to help his costumers! I’m a very happy customer!Hi A,Thank you for your email and for supporting our Ancestral Supplements.Spleen works for most, but if it doesn't, add in a little Liver which provides a totally different mechanism to improve iron status and energy (see the attachment). Many of our customers successfully improve their iron status with our stand alone Liver product because it naturally provides cofactors (vitamin A, B12, folate, choline, zinc, copper, ceruloplasmin, etc) that support endogenous iron production, the building of blood and hemoglobin health, along with a moderate amount of heme iron. For this reason, liver should be considered as a first line supplement option to manage iron status. It's important to know that adding more dietary iron to the equation doesn't always work... if that's not the root cause of the issue.Many customers respond remarkably well when Spleen is combined with Liver. There's just something special about the combination of the two. I sincerely believe that this nourishment will give you the best chance at improving iron status and feeling better (better energy, better mood, better mental clarity).As it relates to taking our Spleen/Liver along with the Bone Marrow, our functional healthcare practitioner accounts have never reported these products interfering with one another for iron absorption. However if you believe they are related, I suggest spacing your Bone Marrow dose at least 45 minutes away from your Spleen and/or Liver dose. ( My doctor; an hematologist wants my ferritin to be 100)Today my blood work showed my Ferritin fell to 21 :(. I suspect any of the other supplements I take is interfering with iron absorption. May be zinc, cooper, Magnesium, vitamin E...Who knows? Lately I’ve been taking spleen with your bone marrow product. I wonder if the calcium in the bone marrow is interfering with iron absorption.Would you please advise me on how to combine/ alternate this wonderful products for raising my iron reserves?I would greatly appreciate it!

I had my bloodwork done after feeling extreme fatigue for over a year. We found that the problem was incredibly low iron levels. Tried over the counter, prescription, and iron infusions. They all made me even more fatigued. Apparently the sudden influx of iron can be really difficult for the body to process. I felt like my choice was either not to take the iron pills at all and have at least a chance of not being too tired to work at all that day, or take them until however many days or weeks it took for my body to get used to them and be down for that entire time. The latter was not really an option since I'm an independent contractor and I need to go work. I started researching a little more and found that the type of iron used in those pills and infusions was less likely to be easily absorbed by the body, and that heme iron would be more easily absorbed. I assumed that was true because I remembered that in days that I are a lot of meat I actually felt something akin to "good" the next day. I started searching for supplements that had heme iron and cane across this company. Went to their website and searched for what they recommend to boost iron and this is was it. I was surprised that there wasn't more in the liver or blood supplement they have, but i ordered the beef spleen. I felt a difference immediately, I finally felt like I had some life force back. I ran out and didn't have the money to reorder for about 2 weeks, and fatigue began to set in again. Upon reorder and the first 24 hours of taking them again, I was more awake and alert and getting more done again. I'm still not where i want to be entirely, that's going to take some time to build up the iron levels again, but this supplement works, it's the only iron supplement that has worked for me, and it works pretty quickly if your problem is low iron.
Low Ferritin. Brilliant product.
I dont even know where to begin. Brian is a breath of hope, kindness and love,all in one human being.I am currently on my week 3 of Beef Spleen, and I am feeling much better already.After talking to Brian and explaining the reason for my purchase of this product (extremely low Ferritin levels (10)), he has generously offered a free bottle of Beef Liver to try combining it with Beef Spleen, as he believes they work very well together. After being vegan for 7 years and 1 year livoing purely off fruits, my health started to deteriorate. My hair started to fall out, my skin became dry and flaky, my mood was up and down, I had no energy at all, being a 32 years female,this was not how I imagined I would be feeling. So, after endless test results my GP said that there is nothing wrong with me. Untill the day I paid private doctor and did private blood test, I have been told that my Ferritin can be the reason why in the past two years I have been feeling the way I did. So, after trying numerous Iron suppliements my ferritin continued to go down.It took me another few weeks of extensive research untill I found this product. And I am in disbelief, I am feeling like I finally started to feel like myself again at least a little. Brian did mention that for some it might take few days, others might need a bit longer to see improvements. I intend to continue with Beef Spleen and Liver for another month before having my blood test done again. But I already noticed that I am not loosing my hair as much and my skin is getting better, not to mention that I feel less fatigue. I must mention that I was a true coffee addict and used to drink 3-4 very strong espressos a day.I stopped consuming any kind of caffeine and try to take these supplements at least 1 hour before food.I just wanted to say separate thank you to Brian for his generosity. He patiently replied to all my emails ( there were lots of them:), answering all my questions. I never came across anyone who cares about their product and customer as much as Brian does. So, thank you for that and thank you for providing us with such as amazing quality product. Highly recommend.

Works for Low ferritin & Iron
I have been taking a different iron sup alongside 3 beef spleen and 1 beef liver per day, i think my iron levels where so low it was causing headaches. My nails are growing and my energy is so much better!Also just to add when i stopped your sups i could not breath! Its one of my tell tail signs my iron and ferritin is getting low, breathlessness and air hunger. 2 days after taking your sups im not breathless! I now know i cant stop them, and may need to take more around my monthy cycles but thats ok. As long as i can take your sups for a long time with no side effects then thats what I'll do. Amazing stuff.Just wanted to add Brain is amazing, he has emailed me to check up on me to see how im getting on, never known a company to be so caring, they really do care!

I rarely write reviews unless I am very impressed and have actually taken time to use the item. I stumbled on Ancestral Supplements on a biohacking group someone recommended to me because I have been dealing with health issues since 2015ish even though I don't eat anything processed and eat organic and free range as much as I am able to. I have done several PRIVATE (because I learned that the tests run by the NHS were not comprehensive enough eg the thyroid panel only tests Tsh and T3) tests, worked with Nutritional therapists, so called health coaches, Naturopaths and none of them really could help. My issues: chronic debilitating fatigue, hairloss, eczema, brain fog which made me literally feel like dying everyday, food sensitivities, thyroid cysts and Uterine Fibriods etc.I found these supplements and went with my gut! I had ordered so many supplements over the years and some did nothing! I had naturally become wary but I am so glad that I gave these a go. I am not rich and I know that these supplements are not the cheapest although they work out "cheap" for me because they actually work! There's nothing as painful as buying supplements or anything at all and not getting results. I learned from suffering to prioritise good supplements and food.I placed my first order from the Ancestral Supplements US store last year and I have also ordered from Ergomax and recently ordered from Bolo UK.My results : my eyes have literally opened! I am not sure that there's a better way to explain this. My head used to feel "heavy" and my eyes always felt like they were shutting or heavy eyelids. I really thought that this was the way it was always going to be for me until I tried the Beef Thyroid!!! My Acupuncturist said "your face is brighter". I knew it wasn't in my head but it was so good to hear feedback! The horrible sluggishness I used to feel is gone!! My skin is brighter too and my nails are strong and no longer "see through". The hair loss is GREATLY reduced! I think I only occasionally shed now just after my cycles because the fibriods cause flooding (apologies about the TMI).I am using the Beef thyroid for energy, brain fog and hair loss and I am seeing results with these! Using the Spleen and Liver for energy, hairloss and low ferritin and I am seeing results here too. My hair grew finally and eczema is gone!!! Hair is luscious and strong and I cannot stop playing in it. I only just purchased the Gallbladder because I suffer from constipation and Brian the founder of Ancestral Supplements suggested this and the Bone and Marrow for constipation. I only started the Gallbladder a few days ago and it has helped me so much with bloating. It is magical this one. I am just grateful for the relief from bloating which is a new symptom as never suffered this before. I read that Uterine Fibriods could cause this. I tried the Adrenals last year as well but it felt "too much" for me personally as I was so tired the next day after taking it, so I have set it aside for now. I love them because they are food! No nasties no fillers. Food that truly nourish you! I was bedridden and now waking up isn't scary anymore. I was suicidal because I couldn't imagine living like I was for the rest of my life! Now, I get out of bed every morning. I can walk again and do gentle workouts and I don't have pain in my joints. I give these to my children too. I am so grateful and hopeful!!Brian, the owner, is one of a kind! I was surprised that ANCESTRAL SUPPLEMENTS isn't a new company. Usually, companies are passionate and responsive in the early days and that's when you can get the best energy and answers from them. Not this one. I have emailed so many questions and this guy responds graciously all the time! He knows his stuff and he takes the time to respond and quickly too! He truly cares and you can see that in his responses. I cannot recommend the company enough without making it sound like a sales pitch. They are amazing! I feel so grateful and lucky to have found them and I am actually getting quite emotional right now because I had given up on ever functioning again. I have improved so much and I believe that I will get to full recovery. If you are out there and are struggling like I was, please do not give up. Trust your gut. These are food supplements I have decided to use for life if possible!
Improved low ferritin from 3 to 6 in 4 weeks
I have IBS caused by SIBO and keeping my iron/ferritin up is a constant battle. Recently after another detox/cleanse my ferritin crashed down to 3 and my aching legs, air hunger and crazy heavy periods returned. I had used the SPLEEN product before and had great results and this time round it did the trick too. I took 6 tablets a day fro 1 month and symptoms improved quickly. I need a ferritin level of 30 to have surgery and thus contacted Ancestral Supplements to see if there is anything else I can add to get me there faster. BRILLIANT customer support and according to their recommendation I can up the number of spleen tablets and also add the LIVER (maybe also BOOD VITALITY). Will report back next month. So grateful for this company and their products.
