I haven't written a review in years; it's something I just don't do anymore. However, I feel that I need to in order to give this product the justice is deserves after seeing some of these negative reviews. I almost didn't buy this product because of some of the complaints, but now I'm glad I did buy it.Many complaints from the negative reviews are wrong!MYTH 1: The paper towels rip when dispensing. The opening is sharp.TRUTH: Look at my picture above, the opening is rounded completely, including on the inside. If your paper towels rip, you either overfilled it with too much compression, or you have weak/over-sized paper towels. I bought the Pacific Blue Select (model 21000). https://www.Bolo.com/gp/product/B004YK2KSM/ Also, I would HIGHLY recommend multifold towels, and not C-fold. C-fold towels do not inter-fold like multifold do. Unlike multifold, C-fold towels do not pop out when one is removed; each towel has to be "dug" out and might rip. If you buy the standard size of towels (9.2" x 9.4"), they will fit PERFECTLY through the opening, although larger towels will still fit.MYTH 2: It is hard to lock or close the dispenser after filling it.TRUTH: If you overfill it to the point there is compression, that will keep the key from turning at the top.MYTH 3 (opinion): This dispenser is not heavy duty or looks cheap.TRUTH: This dispenser exceeded my expectations. I was expecting flimsy metal. This is actually a quite hard steel. The surface is not fake in anyway; real stainless steel inside and out. Even the wall anchors have what (appears) to be stainless steel screws.NOTE: I tested this dispenser very full and almost empty. I never had towels fall out (only tested with multifold towels).

Nice and sturdy holder. I put it in my guest bathroom. I’m going to buy two more for the garage and basement. Really worth the money.

Easy to use and easy to refill. —just don’t lose the keys and don’t overfill. A bit pricier than others but the paper towel refills are on the cheaper side. You know when you go to public restrooms and either the soap dispenser is broken or toilet paper isnt refilled right, perhaps the paper towel dispenser needs a magic password to give you a sheet, well since this one is a simple design with no sensors or other hi tech mechanics, it will almost never break really.

It's not the dispenser itself. It's sturdy, looks good and works great (at least with the multi-fold towels we use). And while installation is no different from any other dispenser, the mounting hardware included is pretty awful. The washers recommended in the instructions aren't even included, and the anchors provided are too flimsy to drive into anything other than a hole drilled too wide for secure installation (unless you're lucky enough to have a fortuitously-located wall stud to screw it into). So if you have four decent anchor and screw sets and a few spare washers of the right size, this will probably seem like a 5-star dispenser.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great addition to my woodshop bathroom. I am constantly washing my hands and it's so much easier having one of these around. I do also have clean cloth rags hanging near by to minimize the usage of single-use paper towels. The stainless steel is easy to keep clean.My only problem with this design is that when you fasten it to a wall and use the key to open it up, the lid will hit the wall before fully opening thus putting outward pressure to the back. It's hard to illustrate but not a big problem all in all.

I installed this in my carport as I often need a small paper towel for my hands or objects that I'm working on. Although it isn't exposed to rain I wanted something durable and weather resistant. This is much more convenient that a roll of paper towels and more economical.
These look nice in my home daycare bathrooms!
Was forced by government to purchase paper towel dispensers for my home daycare. I didn't really want big bulky paper towel dispensers and came upon these. They came quickly, were easy to install and look really nice in my bathroom! They are on the side wall beside my vanity and you barely notice them! Thanks so much!!!!
