5.0 out of 5 stars Quality, Comfort, Value
I had a recent hip replacement (6 weeks) and total knee (3 years) . Being a Meat cutter, standing, and walking has been very painful on my feet. I have tried several different brands of quality shoes, and always had extreme foot pain after working. I am flat-footed also. These shoes, fit my wide foot, and give my flat feet just enough arch support , without the pain the other brands gave me. I was going to bite the bullet and buy custom 250 dollar orthopedic shoes, and decided to give it one more try. I am glad I did!. The soles are also very good on the oily clay tile floors. I recommend these to anyone in food service, with flat feet and old bones!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Durable, comfortable
Bought these as casual/work shoe for around yard and shopping in rainy Oregon winter. They are dry, warm, easily cleaned, and seem durable so far. Great traction even on my wet "oilslick" of a wooden deck. I wear them way more than I even expected. Not a lot of arch support but they are very comfortable for short periods. Slightly oversize but perfect for my usual two layers of socks. Great buy.
4.0 out of 5 stars Probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn!
Took them to Iceland. Water resistant, warm, comfy...prefect. Then one of the expand material sides stitching came loose and I could not wear them without them falling off. However, got back home, did my own stitching (to spec) and voilà (or should I say BAM!) the perfect pair of shoes once again. Great design, super comfy...quality does needs some touch-up.
1.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit, good grip, horrific comfort.
Ironic of the shoe box to have "comfort" plastered all over the place when these are the least comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. Feels like it's completely made of rubber (even the parts that are supposed to be comfy) and my foot was sore only after 5 minutes of walking around in these. I would NOT recommend them. In fact, I tried cutting up some of the material just to loosen it but the stuff this shoe is made of is inherently uncomfortable.Update : 2 Months in and my feet feel horrible. Never in my life has it felt this bad and it honestly feels like my nerves have been hurt. Replaced the shoes yesterday because they felt the worst they've ever. Horrible.
3.0 out of 5 stars Like wearing the box
These are good shoes for gardening, so I have taken to wearing them like Crocs. But for kitchen they are clumsy and huge on my size 13 foot. I mean they make my foot look twice as big, so definitely no fashion statement here. Also a basic non-breathable material which is neither comfortable nor uncomfortable but nothing you'd want to endorse if you were a celeb chef, IMO
5.0 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable
Unfortunately these are the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. They rub the back heal, they are narrow, and just unforgiving. I’ve been trying to break them in for a month. I finally just bought a different brand.I believe they’re sized small also. The one giid thing is they are sturdy
5.0 out of 5 stars Product rubs my ankles
Everything on the shoe is great, the non-slip is quality, the shoe is made of rubber type material, and the one thing that bothers me is the arch’s on the top of the show rub the hell out of my ankles. The shoes soles are worn in, hand to replace, but the shoes are holding up well. You have to clean then and stay away from chemicals.Maintaining a shoe that sees 60 hours a day and rough walking conditions(miles a day), these shoes have held up for over a year and going. The soles started to separate but super glue helped
2.0 out of 5 stars Basically, these are awful.
In a twist of irony, I'm going to tell you that these medieval torture devices are made petty well. They have all of the things they advertise and that you want in a work shoe, from a cushy soule, to waterproof and nonslip. But it's all undone in a way that is unforgivable once you get your foot in the shoeWhen the mouth opens, they include these stretchy elastic pieces to make them easier to put on which soundslike a good idea. But to do that creates more material on the inside of the shoe to hold it together. And mine rubbed, right on one particula spot on both of my feet right around each ankle. Inside ankle on the left foot, outside ankle on the right foot. To the point where after two uses since purchasing them, a mere 14 work hours, it destroyed my foot. Pictured are the areas that actually became wounded. Other areas just sore.I tried stuffing the shoes with paper towels to create separation which worked briefly until it didn't anymore. And even then, it just started running on different areas along the top of my foot where the mouth opens. I understand there are times when you need to break in a shoe but this ain't that. And I can't imagine at any point this is going to get more comfortable. But it's unbearable now.I tried to wear them for today's shift, even with bandages over the injured areas but it became immediately clear this was not going to work. I put on my old shoes these were supposed to replace and am returning them immediately and now I still have to find a new shoe.
