5.0 out of 5 stars Rich, Tangy, Sweet, Gourmet Ketchup
After seeing Sir Kensington's Classic Ketchup for years, I finally decided to try some, picking up a single-serve packet of it at my local Whole Foods in Colonie, New York. I liked it so much that I took the plunge and ordered one 20-oz. bottle of it, hoping it would taste just as good. It not only did that, but it tasted even better. It's just a shame that the company has decided to discontinue this wonderful product; consumers need a gourmet alternative to the usual ketchup you get at the supermarket, where you basically have two main choices.
5.0 out of 5 stars Otherworldly Ketchup
Flavorful, great body, natural zingy ketchup... buy a big bottle for your fridge, and buy the foil packets to keep with you for french fry emergencies. Other ketchup pales in comparison... this is uber delicious, and elevates everything you dip in it. Very nice find, you won't be able to return to other commercial ketchup ever again! Great on cocktail dogs!
5.0 out of 5 stars I am surprised how much I like this ketchup
I had noticed that the top ketchup brand (not sure I can name them here? But you know who I mean. Rhymes with "vines") just seems disgustingly sweet to me. Not being a fan of tomato syrup, I began to look for something more "old-timey" that maybe my tastebuds would recognize from the before-times when American tastebuds were not attuned to "sweet" and not much else. This has FLAVOR and doesn't have that overly smooth consistency that the top brand has. You can actually tell it's made from vegetables. As for sweet, still probably a bit too much for me but I don't use a ton of the stuff to begin with.
4.0 out of 5 stars A Gourmet Ketchup
It is as advertised. We will not be ordering it again as we are so used to normal Heintz flavor that this was too much a departure but that is us. It really is a high quality product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Let's talk Ketchup
I realize I risk insinuating presenting myself as a person who collects things in jars and hides them under my bed for having the time to talk ketchup, but I have moral obligations as a southern boy. I was on a date and we stopped for some french fries before seeing a concert. I needed some grease on my stomach in case the date went badly, I could just... drink myself through it. Upon the arrival of my fried potato wedges, I grabbed what appeared to be ketchup, though I wasn't familiar with the brand. I did find the little Monopoly character on it cute, so I threw caution to the wind. I like Monopoly. One thing is common amongst poor, okay, and wealthy southerners, we all use the same ketchup. It's simply common knowledge... like breathing. I squeezed some to the side of my fries and then dipped one of them into this thick concoction. Let's just say, I have learned to carry a British accent and I now tell people I am from a distinguished village a few hours outside London. This ketchup is so good.. soooooo good. Like, go home to visit family and at the family barbecue, whilst sitting at the table letting the family see how fabulous I look, I pull my own ketchup out from my man bag and squeeze this heavenly creation upon my three-ply paper plate. Momma screams and passes out, Poppa walks away in disdain... my younger cousins giggle from the kid's table at my gall. Forget them.. forget them all, how dare these common people judge me! I am from a distinguished village outside London.. and we use Sir Kensington's Ketchup!
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Ketchup Ever!
I must have ketchup on certain items. Not often. Not a lot. But I like it occasionally. My husband and daughter would NEVER eat ketchup, and frankly, I would be teased about liking ketchup. This teasing went over the line a few times. I decided to try Sir Kensington's ketchup, as we all like their avocado mayonnaise so much. This ketchup is great! A mouthful of flavor; tart, not sweet, and my husband and daughter both like ketchup now. We all reach for it, for more occasions. It is a little zesty, and elevates the flavor of a lot of items. As I was teased for years, I now always get it first, and they sheepishly request ask to be next. Also a big plus: the squeeze function is great - it has the type of top that lets you squeeze out "just" the amount that you want.
3.0 out of 5 stars If you don't like sweet ketchup, this is for you.
If asked to describe most ketchups, I probably wouldn't use the word sweet right away. I might mention it after several other descriptors about the product, not really thinking of sweetness as a main factor in ketchup. That changed with product. First, let me say that this ketchup as well as this company checks a bunch of great boxes on paper; No high fructose corn syrup, GMO free, soy free and on and on. Secondly, it's not as if the ketchup tastes bad, it doesn't. It just lacks the sweetness that I never really noticed about most other ketchups. That sweetness that when absent, I and my palate really missed. Another reviewer described it as tomato pasty, I think that is an accurate and apt description. It is now relegated to being a cooking ingredient and an addition to sauces. But if you think most ketchups are too sweet, do I have one for you.

So delicious and doesn’t expire until next year. Glad I got to have one more taste of this very flavorful ketchup. Much better than Heinz
