This is fantastic for using smaller dies, and it cuts perfectly with little to no effort. The bottom suction cup holds tight to the table. They sent a surprise package of small seasonal dies that are really cute. Since it's close to Halloween and Thanksgiving, I'll be sure to use them. I would definitely order from this company again.

I opened the box the minute it arrived so I could try this out. The Sidekick is so easy to operate that I was using it within minutes! This kit is such a great way to start since it includes not only the machine but also a set of 8 dies, two embossing folders, and set of 7 stamps. With this one purchase, I have what I need to get started making cards! Note that this is a SMALL machine meant for small projects (perfect for greeting cards). If you are looking for something to cut or emboss for larger projects, you'll need a larger machine. Be sure to read the product description and size specs. Overall, this was a fantastic value considering everything that comes with it! I'm very happy with the purchase.

I like the simplicity of this machine it’s not difficult to use the cuts are clean but the only thing I see wrong it is it doesn’t cut leather with glitter on it very well this is what I was talking about having to make several passes other then that it works great worth the money and good for a beginner

I like that I can quickly cut out flowers or what ever I’m working on. I gave it 3 stars because the suction part won’t stick to the table. It still cuts and I like it. It was good value for the money.

I’m loving my Sidekick! I can stay seated when I need to pop out a label, tag, or small die cut for the card I’m making—exactly what I’d hoped for! It’s easy to use and just the right size. My only complaint is that the suction cup doesn’t keep the machine attached to my desk, so I have to reattach it pretty often. Not a deal breaker by any means.

De petite taille, il faut faire attention à la taille des gabarits de découpe et d'embossage mais pour débuter elle est parfaite et fait bien son travail. Elle a une bonne stabilité. Satisfaite de mon achat.
Sizzix sidekick
This is a fabulous little machine. I already have the sizzix big shot which I bought about 20years ago and it’s still going strong but I wanted something smaller to keep on my desk to cut out the smaller dies which I use a lot more now as I make mini journalsThe cutting plates are very strong and don’t bend like other brands. The plates are 6and a half cm wide or 2 and a half inches wide so it is small. But it’s is value for money, it’s light and its portable. To cut intricate dies the machine handled it well I only had to pass the ‘sandwich’ through once and it cut perfectly first time didn’t need a shim. I’m really pleased with it and I can see myself using this a lot. I would recommend if you are new to crafting and want to have a try at die cutting , this little machine would be great, but if you want to cut bigger dies for say A5 cards I would invest in a larger machine, depends what you need to cut either way Sizzix is a reliable brand I have always used their products without a problem you get a 2 year extended warranty if you register your product online but I can see this product lasting many more years Nice to have thought just in case.
