This is a very neutral-looking object during the day, so that it’s almost invisible, but is amazing at night. I used it as a light for moving around my apartment at night, as we had blackout curtains and it was very dark, and I didn’t want to turn on the bright overhead lights at 12am, 2am, or 6am. Very functional for a variety of settings, including kitchen/livingroom, bathroom, kids’ room, hallways, etc. Pretty average size, about 4” or so. Lasts a pretty long time, as I used it for about three years and only stopped because I moved and lost it in a box (hoping to find it again soon). Decent adjustability, but I usually kept it on the dim white option since I just used it to see where I was going without running into walls.

I swear I had this thing for all of 15 minutes before my 5 year old niece saw it and thought it was the prettiest, coolest thing ever!It can turn every color including a white, a warm white, plus your usual nightlight yellow and one of the “colors” just cycles through the entire rainbow - that was her favorite.It seemed pretty sturdy for the five minutes I had it plugged in. It detects light so that’s cool - love living in the future lol.I would say this was definitely worth the $5 and I’ll definitely be buying more!

I have sleep issues and the light is the perfect dim light. It’s the right size not to big not too smal , looks amazing at night! The light detection is wildly spot on! And it’s very quiet!

A very good night light at a great price. Lots of colors to choose from but a few are kind of strange hues that aren't very comforting at night. In addition, the light is a little too bright for a smaller room. Wish it had a couple of brightness levels. Still, the auto light sensing works well. Overall a good purchase.

I've had this plugged in for just about a week now, wanted to watch it do it's thing a few days before giving my opinion.When plugged in for the first time it went straight to rotating color mode, which worked for me because I was going to try that setting out first anyway. This is for my hallway so I can see any movement with some back lighting. I like the rotating setting because (in my head anyway) it looks like you are just keeping a soft light and if laying awake can be relaxed by the slow but steady flow of the colors. The only color I don't love for the hallway lights intended purpose is the red, it is a bit too dark, but all the other colors are perfect.I replaced an old one that was crazy bright and had to go in the hallway or it felt like you had a light on in the bedroom. It started going bad after 5 years (not bad) and I thought this would be a good replacement. And so far I really like it.My hallway is really dark, and dark flooring doesn't help, causing the sensor to always think it's dark unless the hallway light is on, so it runs most of the day and night. After a week of being pretty much continuously running it is not even slightly warm to the touch, a very good thing.The lights are bright enough for my needs/wants (except the red) but soft enough that it would work great in a kids room and not be so bright it kept them up or woke them up if they rolled over and the light caught their eye. Would also make for some nice ambiance in an adults room, or living room, but I'd probably only plug it in when I wanted that (for rotating colors), not leave it on all the time, but that's just me.I am really happy with this light overall and would purchase again or recommend to friends and family.

My son is autistic and got a random fear of the dark out of no where. He started screaming and crying for a light and I needed to find one that would not be so bright for his other siblings who share a room with him. This light got to us in 24 hours and has a lot of colors to choose from. This helped him instantly and could not have been better!

Overall, these are really great to have. I like having a bit of ambient light when I come into to my apartment in the dark. They have a light sensor, so it comes on when you shut off the lights. It cycles through different colours -- red, green, blue, etc.I haven't bothered checking if you can set it to a single colour because I like it switching between them. The only thing I realized is some colours (e.g. red) light up the room way less than others (e.g. blue). So it goes darker and lighter, and dark again, etc. I'm fine with this.I find it a fun little light so I'm sure it would be great as a kids night light as well.

These are fantastic! I bought the 4 pack for a nightlight in my sons room, his bathroom, the hallway and kitchen for when he gets up in the night to get a drink and they work great. He loves the fun colours which takes the “scary” out of getting out of bed in a big dark house. They are bright but not too bright, they’re easy to cycle through the beautiful colours and they are very responsive with motion detection. They set the mood in any room especially when used at the same time with smart bulbs.I definitely recommend.

Nice modern night lights to guide you through the dark death trap that is your house at 3:00am. Vivid but odd color choices, there's no orange, but two yellows and two reds? So, just in case the first shade of red wasn't giving you that perfect serial killer vibe throughout your house, you can then select another shade of red to really nail it? Overall, the color choices work just fine for my needs. 5/5
