LEM BigBite Stainless Steel Meat Grinder #32 is a work horse… I waited almost 2 years to review this meat grinder so I could give a hand on experience review. I have been grinding my own meat for over 25 years and have burned up some cheaper bargain model meat grinders and others that don’t offer parts. At LEM there customer service is excellent!!! They stock a full line of parts for everything they sell!!! That’s important!!! THE GRINDER IS AWESOME it has never bogged down or even hesitated when grinding the toughest chunks of meat! Also that’s why there’s no reverse on it you doesn’t need it! Assembling & breaking down is easy… The stainless steel design is a excellent choice for a small butcher sausage shop, a sausage shop, a restaurant or home user. It makes it super easy to clean and sanitize. They have the best warranty out there. That’s important!!! The price well you get what you pay for and it’s competitively priced for its class size. I highly recommend this grinder to anyone that’s interested in grinding up meat!!! You won’t regret it!!!

Ordered #32 LEM after decades of renting commercial grinders for elk. It arrived in 2 days, front door delivery. It is so powerful, we didn't need the larger diameter grind plates we'd also ordered; the 2 plates it comes with are all that were needed. We never had to use the plunger; it just pulled the elk chunks right through. The agar did get warm at one point and we paused to cool it; but the rented grinders had severe overheating issues so this was minor. We packaged 200 lbs of ground meat and this grinder was faster than the wrappers could keep up. We regret not ordering our own many years ago. I cannot post photos because mine are jpg but the grinder plate diameters are close to 4". Big Bite is aptly named.We haven't used it for sausage.

I have several large dogs. I bought this after Costco ran out of their premium brand of dog food and I switched brands. The Kirkland dog food was so bad, no matter how much my dogs ate (and they ate a lot) they lost wight and their hair started falling out. I linked it to the dog food and started researching how little nutrition is in dog food, even the more popular brands. With Purina one at a $1.50 a lb and better food going up from there, I started making my own from chicken quarters, . 57lb at my local grocery store and adding in extra veggies and organs for vitamins. Now my dog food costs $1.15 lb and the dogs look great, have more energy and I feel better about what they eat. I grind 200lbs at a time and pack it in 5lb bags then put it in the deep freeze. This grinder takes it as fast as I can shovel it in, chicken bones and all.

It is the second one I ordered, and still, parts are missing. I bought what I thought was the top-of-the-line grinder, and so it is, but parts are missing. Who the hell is packing this equipment and shipping it?? I have now ordered two machines, and both have not been right. The company Lem seems to think that they are not the problem. If it were my business, I would bend over backward to help clients. Word of mouth is always your best sales pitch!! in the work I am in there is the possibility of selling 1000 or more of these machines a year but Lem needs to get out of the starting gate ! I am now going to order a third machine !
