Trying to find perfect granola cereal that isn't as hard as a rock nor taste artificial was hard. A brand I loved ended up going out of business. I was pleasantly surprised by the 365 brand of granola. The French vanilla doesn't taste artificial, but it is on the sweet side. So if you don't like it sweet, then you might not like this cereal.

The taste seemed off at first, however it grew on me and I’ve ordered several boxes. I think it’s a stand alone cinnamon flavor that’s usually sweetened by other cereals. This is not bland by any means, just a pure cinnamon flavor that is different than Bunches of Oats varieties.

I thought I'd try this as a healthy breakfast option. It's pretty tasty but much too sweet for breakfast. To me it's more like a kids granola or an ice cream topping.

Made Great Bran Muffins!😁
I haven't been able to find organic bran for a long time so I bought these flakes and crushed them in a food processor to use instead. My muffins (a recipe from my first cookbook, Not Just for Vegetarians) came out perfectly. (Fresh from the oven in photo).They tasted great too.I used 1.5 cups of flakes to yield approximately 1 cup of bran for the recipe which makes 12 big muffins.
