This rubbermaid plastic container keeps my brown sugar fresh and moist for a long time, I'd guess the sugar I have in it right now is 2 months old at least. I have 2 clay disks in the container within the sugar and each time I use the sugar, I clean and re-wet the clay disks and re-insert back into the brown sugar. The container has a black rubber seal that, when I remove the cover, I have to really pull on it and I hear a vacuum release when it comes off. It fits tight and is a good container for brown sugar given how easily brown sugar dries out. This is a good buy with the clay disks sold separately.

I like that this is a good size and the handle is ergonomic to my hand. It is tough, I have already dropped the lid and body a few times. The dispensing flap can be clicked to stay open and the top stays shut and appears air tight.

My son bought me a set as part of my birthday presents and I am hooked!!! Best containers I've ever had. My addiction. All the sizes. The containers fit inside each other and the lids fit each other. My leftovers last longer, I have a long, big one that I cut a head of lettuce in half, out both halves down and my lettuces lasts a long time.Putting food away has never been easier. All my left over veg prep just go into the smaller sizes. They wash up brilliantly in the dishwasher, things that can stain other products like tomato sauce, I just rub a little Dawn dish soap around and into the dishwasher. No syaining. They freeze, fridge, microwave and dishwasher safe. I'm never looking through a dozen lids to find one that fits. They are airtight so sometimes getting the lid off of leftovers can take some muscle but air tight is what keeps the food fresher longer.I send sets as gifts. I asked my bonus daughter if she liked the set I sent her because I never heard and she got so excited telling me how much she and her man loved them. It blew me away that she was so excited about them. They are in an apartment without a dishwasher until her dad moves and sells them the house so storage is at a premium and dishes is a chore so Rubbermaid Brilliance helps them with both those challenges.Sometimes I feel like I'm a Rubbermaid Brilliance representative I preach them so much and send them to people for gifts.They can be spendy, I wait for sales or returns but the quality is there, it saves me money on food waste, I put away and stack leftovers in the fridge in a jiffy... I never lend them out or send a meal or treats to someone in them, I would never get them back.

This review is for the Rubbermaid Brilliance Airtight Cereal Food Storage Container, Shatterproof, BPA-Free and Dishwasher-Safe, 32oz Capacity. I am very impressed by this new version from Rubbermaid, it is better than the last version I am using, albeit the old version held 21 cups, and this version stores 18 cups. The Rubbermaid Brilliance Airtight Food Storage container, is first, has an easily to see through clear plastic, which is the brilliance. When I added the rice to the container, and put the lid on, the lid was easy to put on, and you could instantly hear the airtight seal. I purchased three of these and use them to hold the large bags of rice I buy at Costco, and oatmeal. Overall, I like this one better than my old 21 cup version because it is ergonomic, see-through, and more airtight than the last version, and has the benefits of an easy pour lid.

Tough, Holds a lot of cereal, you can easily fit 2 regular size boxes in here or 1 family size, mega size is too big, as far as U.S. cereals go. High quality very sturdy, does not flex, lid snaps on tight, yet easy to open.

I like the container so far however it did not hold the 10cup oatmeal bag I purchased at Costco. There was still about 1/3 oatmeal left and I had to find another container for that.

The Rubbermaid Brilliance Airtight Storage Containers are my absolute favorite storage containers.I’ve spent money on countless containers that promised a strong seal but they didn’t compare to these.Before anything else, they’re beautiful and sleek. They make my cabinets look so organized and neat. I love that I can easily see what’s inside. The lid locks on tight, have no leaks, and they’re sturdy.

I had been looking for an airtight storage container for a while for dogfood. Alot of the ones made for dogfood have mixed reviews. This one works really well for my needs. It holds quite a bit of dog food for my mini goldendoodle. **Note for making it airtight: with the clamps up, push down on the lid first real good and then push both clamps down. I noticed when you close it this way, the next time you go to open it up, you will notice it has a nice, tight seal. When you open it up, you need to hold the bottom part of the container with one hand and pull up on a corner of the lid. It was a little difficult for my young son. I do wish the container had more of "lip" to make it easier to handle, but not a deal breaker.
