I usually buy led tape for under counter lighting, but had a very visible location that warranted something dresser. This is perfect; ultra thin, very bright, beautifully finished. Perfect.

This light is very awesome! It was quick and easy to install. The dim feature is fantastic. You just can't beat it for the price. I used this light to replace an old style incandescent light that was attached in the hutch of my home office desk. It failed on me and I replaced it with this light. It works better and looks better than the old style. No tools required to install. I have just one suggestion for the company. I would ask that they include 3M tape for the dimmer as well. If they could do that, it would make it even more awesome. We'll have to see how long it lasts. But it is an LED light, so I don't foresee this light failing any time soon. Even if it only lasted a year, the price is right! I would buy another one.UPDATE: After two years of constant use, the light is starting to flicker. Other than that, it still works great. If the light fails, I will just buy another one.

I had a tall lamp on my tall headboard in my bedroom that I wanted to replace; I was always worried that that lamp would fall off the headboard and hit me during the night (it's metal and has a good weight... yikes), and it would have been a bonus if the new light could be dimmable. This light has been amazing!I have a narrow, flat space between some molding on my headboard and the top surface; this fits *just right* in that space, so that any books I keep on the top won't hit at the light. I did not use the adhesive strips or the magnetic stripe that came in the kit; instead I used two Command strips, with just enough sticking out to grab when I decide to reposition it, so that I would have a no-damage hanging method. I then used a small Command hook as a guide for the cord. The dimming dial is at a good place in relation to the cords (it's three pieces total), as it's easy for me to reach while laying in bed (my headboard is quite tall).The lighting itself is great. At its position and location in my 10'x12' room (in a corner), it can provide enough light at the maximum to decently illuminate the entire room. At its lowest setting, it gives me enough light for nighttime reading or when I get up in the middle of the night for a bathroom trip. The dimmable feature has been wonderful, allowing me to choose the right amount of light that I desire.I've included two photos: the first is my old lamp, and the second is this lighting kit. (I think it's set to the lowest setting? I took this photo two weeks ago and only now got around to leaving a review, so I forget which setting this is showing. My apologies!) Not sure why my computer keeps messing with the rotation of my photos, though... anyway.After my mom saw this light, she is inspired to get a few and use them as under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen and some other areas in the house. It's definitely versatile, and I only wish that I had discovered this sooner!

Knob has a strange ramped angle, maybe to lessen impact but odd to adjust not having edges to grip well.I use it under a book shelf on my desk. It mounts easily with provided double stick. And uses a USB type power device. Adjustable lighting, led.I'm pleased with the very affordable purchase of this slim easy to tuck away light. It's out of sight with a small reveal of the furniture, and I can turn it on and adjust the light brightness as described.Worthy purchase. Satisfied.

These lights are way better than i expected for the price. They have a solid metal housing and are so thin! The lens across all the lights is crystal clear and looks great. I wanted something to go on my headboard and not be noticeable. These are perfect. The thin profile makes them invisible. The dimming is also nice so i can get just the right amount of light I want. Genuinely impressed ESPECIALLY for the price! I expected something cheap feeling and looking. These are neither of those things. Even includes the mounting pads Don’t hesitate to get these now!

This thing gets super bright- I barely need to flip the switch to get it to the mood I want. I'm using it as cabinet lighting and it works very well. Its also so slim that the housing is barely noticeable. Very nice effect in my cabinet!

Update: Since my original review below, Seller contacted me on their own and replaced the light. Customer support was outstanding! The connectors fit, make a good connection and the light stays on without flickering. A nice bright light and dimmable as/if wanted. Very thin as advertised and fits well in my application. I have it mounted on a slight wedge on the underside of my computer desk so it is tight against the underside but shines forward onto my pull-out keyboard so I can see it in dim light (I can't find an illuminated non-mechanical compact multimedia keyboard hence the need for this light). The dimming feature lets me adjust the light to provide just the right illumination I need without glare. I can see many other uses for this light, under-counter, display cabinets,etc. Very handy,very compact, in fact, surprisingly compact that belays how bright and illuminating this light actually is.Original review: Power cord shorter than advertised, poor connection, light flickers on and off.
