My neighbor gave me basically a brand new barbecue that he got off of one of his friends. It’s nice where were girl me and my wife cleaned it up but the hose did not have a regulator on it that connected to the new propane tank we bought so I ordered this unit was shorter, which was only 3 feet to get braided twice not a problem regulator job safety device no leaks or anything. Only from my head with it was when I opened it out of the package. I got stabbed by a stainless steel wire piece otherwise there’s nothing sticking out of it. The steel is in contact. Very nice unit .

Bought this long hose for a small fire table. It worked just fine for the 1st use/connection. After connecting to an LP tank the second time there was a very loud "shhhh" noise! Further investigation reavealed a very BIG leak where the hose connects to the regulator at the crimp. (See red arrow in photo). This is very dangerous! I am literally a few days past the return window too. Not good. Do not purchase.

Had an issue with squirrels at our seasonal site eating the rubber supply line, changed to this braided line and problem solved!

No complaints about this item. The steel braiding is quite substantial (for installations that require some protection). The fittings attached to 20 lb tank on one end and to an RV furnace on the other end. I am told it also works for a barbecue. Given that it is difficult to find one in a longer length, I am satisfied with the price I had to pay.
