Most of the 300 person or less events I have I do solo. These HDL6’s are light weight yet provide a big clean sound. Match them with a good set of subs are you won’t be disappointed.

I bought one of these from an authorized dealer to demo before I invested in several of them. I was amazed at how clear and loud these little babies are. I can hang 4 of them per side and barely weigh more than one of my JBL SRX835P. The first night I had these out it rained on them, but that is no problem because they are a nice poly-cabinet. You will absolutely need subs for these unless you are doing an all acoustic gig, but even then that is questionable. Adding subs to these just makes everything sound perfect. The clarity of these is straight up unreal. I had these bouncing off their limiter and it still was crystal clear 100 yards away. Did I mention how light these are? I was thinking of going with a bigger line of the HDL lineup, but even the next step up the HDL10A is almost 2x the weight. These are light enough to hang off of truss with minimal concern (unless you are hanging 16 cabinets or something crazy). Buy these, you will not be disappointed!!! The rigging hardware is a little spendy, but the ease and adjust-ability of them is crazy simple. Because they are so light you can adjust the hang angle on several of them while they are suspended, try that with line array cabinets that weight 50+ lbs each.

My brother has 8 of these but unless it is a bigger venue he does not use all of them, the most impressive little speaker I ever heard. He does sound for Edward Mustad he came in 2nd "The Voice" in Norway and a few other up and coming artists.
