5.0 out of 5 stars Just What I Needed & Wanted!!!!!
I didn’t know what this was called and how to find it, but I knew I needed something like this. I videotape and take pictures of entertainers and Las Vegas at their shows. I want to look professional and I also need something that’s convenient and hasslefree. It’s lightweight, but extremely durable. At this time I feel I would trust my $1300 phone with this product. I haven’t tried it out yet but I’m looking forward to it! So far I absolutely love it now I’m gonna go out looking like a professional and it’s gonna be easy for me to capture magic on stage! It’s a great buy, and I would recommend it to anyone! I will upload a video shortly. I’m definitely going to buy a couple more as I will be using it very often and just in case I overuse it or I do something silly and forget it at home I’m gonna have one in the car and A couple at home. The size is perfect and the appearance is nice sturdy and professional. It’s a great price for something like this! There’s no need for a remote control as the ideas popped up lol. It holds my flash that screws on top of it very well! I absolutely love this. This kicks up my image As a photographer and videographer to a whole Nother level!
5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile and Effective: Worth the price!
**SUMMARY**Definitely worth ten bucks—this combo of grip, clamp, and swivel is well made and very functional. My YouTube channel (billsnodgrass) has an unboxing and first look video.I would pay ten bucks just for the clamp.Note: This is NOT a gimbal, though it has that look. It is a grip/handle/holder. However, if the phone has image stabilization, this grip gives you a good way to hold the phone steady to get those smooth shots. My review video has a 60 second b roll sequence shot using this device and the camera's stabilization.**DETAILS**The box contained the hardware (3 pieces), a carrying pouch, and a lens cloth. Packaging was adequate and appropriate.Though I doubt I'll ever use the carrying pouch, I feel like I can never have too many lens cloths, so I welcomed receiving another one. Now, about the grip/handle/stabilizer…Fully assembled as pictured in the product information, this product provides an extremely solid way to hold your phone. In my hand, it felt comparable to holding my DJI Osmo Mobile. Very solid.CONSTRUCTIONThis product is made out of a hard, rugged plastic that seems to be similar to the kind of plastic used in my Canon Speedlites and other high-end photographic accessories. All of the mounting pieces (screws and nuts) are metal. I have not found anything I feel is defective or poorly assembled.VERSATILITYThere are three main parts to this product. (see images below). I am going to call them the grip, the clamp, and the swivel. It is packaged in two parts: the grip and the clamp/swivel. All of the screws nuts have standard tripod threading, so easily lends itself to being adapted. For instance, in the last photo below, I added the ballhead off my Joby 3k to the grip and mounted my DSLR as if I needed a handle for vlogging. Since all of the mounts are the "universal tripod" threading, it will work with other photography products, so there are many, many options. The grip is excellent. It fits my hand and feels comfortable. It has the mounting thread on tip with a thumbwheel to tighten it AND it has a mount on the bottom (see fourth picture below) so that it, itself, can be mounted to a tripod. Thus, with phone attached, you can use it as grip, then put it on a tripod without un attaching the phone. The swivel is needed only if you want to switch from landscape (horizontal) composition to portrait (vertical). The clamp can be removed from the swivel. The clamp: IMO, the clamp is worth ten bucks by itself. It will fit my iPhone 8 Plus with case on, and when case is off, it still grips it firmly. The clamp has been added to the set of things I use daily for my YouTube videos. The clamp has two mounting points (see pictures below) so it can be attached directly to the grip in two different orientations. However, using it in "pistol grip" orientation results in some of the screen being obscured.Tip: If you insert the phone upside down, you can carry the grip upside down for calf-high follow shots or to record other low pans and sweeps.
4.0 out of 5 stars I've got two, good for video and selfie photos
My wife and I each have one of these for our iPhones, works great for traveling video shots, i.e. videos while walking. We have also used it successfully for occasional selfie shots.Looks like the phone clamp will interfere with new iPhone 16 "camera button", but not the fault of Fantaseal, lets hope they come up with a minor design revision for this.I think a DIY fix is possible, a little judicious surgery for the upper rubber pad should make this grip compatible with iPhone 16.I do find sometime that the size of this stabilizer means that sometimes it gets left behind, but not sure what could be done that would make it as effective but smaller. It helps that it disassembles into two pieces.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
I bought this for going to theme parks and it’s sturdy and stable for the price. I’m surprised and happy I got it! It’s super easy to assemble. Took me less than 3 minutes. It’s self explanatory. Like that it fits my LifeProof case. The phone is IPhone 13 Pro Max
Great Deal
Very easy to hold and seems to be solid construction so far. It even comes with a cleaning cloth and carrying bag.Under $20…what a great deal!!
Handy-Griff
Der Handygriff funktioniert einwandfrei, enspricht voll meiner Erwartung.
Nul
Ce n’est pas un stabilisateur mais un porte smartphone
Excellent for the price.
It doesn't have any sort of motorised stabilisation like the more expensive ones do, but still makes filming so much easier with a solid construction and decent sized handle to grip. The added safety strap is good incase you accidentally drop your phone.
