I’ll start out by saying that yes, I know. It’s expensive AF. I’m in the Army and by no means rich. It was a Prime Day deal, though, so I went for it. I’m hooked!!!The bottle is tall and thin so doesn’t take up a huge profile in my shower. You literally only need like a pea sized amount…which I didn’t believe in the reviews, but it’s true. It lathers SO amazingly and feels soooo good when you put it on. It feels lightweight, like it’s not gonna work…but it works amazingly and I don’t ever have any makeup come off on the cotton pad I use afterwards for toner. And I wear very thick foundation and eye makeup btw… I have seborrheic dermatitis and it’s helped so much….no more red spots by my nose! I also have extremely sensitive eyes and it’s doesn’t make them burn whatsoever and I don’t wake up with crust on my eyes. And it smells wonderful…very light scented.I will definitely be purchasing again. The fact that it lasts so long makes the price point less painful.

I'm slowly but surely falling in love with everything that is Kate Somerville. I originally tried her ExfoliKate exfoliator and I do really like that. I liked it so much that I decided to give her face wash a try as well. First let me say it smells amazing. It smells like tea, specifically.. a mix of orange pekoe and earl grey (you can definitely smell bergamot in it). I love it. It's a light fragrance, so if you're sensitive to stuff like that, it shouldn't be an issue. It smells natural, not chemically or synthetic. Anyway, this stuff comes out like a paste. It's very different from any face wash I've used. It's almost like a super concentrated paste, because you need very very little of it. Just a tiny pea-sized dot will cover my face and neck, so this stuff will last you quite a while. It isn't terribly foaming like the name suggests, but it does get the job done and makes your skin feel clean. But the most impressive part about this face wash is how smooth and soft it makes your skin feel! I have never used a face wash that has made my skin feel like that. It truly is amazing. I know this stuff is really expensive, like a lot of Kate Somerville's stuff, but this here is very much worth it. I like this even better than I like the exfoliator, and I really like that stuff. It's worth the splurge. If you're unsure, try and get a sample or just buy the travel sized version of this to test it out. You'll love it. Would work great on both dry or oily skin - I have normal to dry skin, and it doesn't dry me out at all.

I have been using this product since the beginning of the year and have been able to remove and keep black heads and sebum build up off my pores. Which ultimately has reduced the size of my pores. I have very sensitive skin and this gentle wash does the job perfectly without damaging my skin. Worth every penny. Process does take a little time before you see results but you must be consistent.

I’m would have never tried this amazing cleanser if I didn’t accidentally think no it was the scrub when ordering. Best cleanser. A lot like Creme De La Mer cleanser but for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend this cleanser for deep cleansing and makeup removal.

I have been using this product for about a year now. I love the smell and how it makes my skin feel after washing. I also add in the exfoliation cream as well two times a week.

My combination skin can get dry in spots and so I feel like I need to exfoliate at least a couple of times a week to make my skin feel like it can breathe. I've used several other exfoliants and had various levels of success. This particular one worked very well right from the beginning. It did not dry out my skin but it made it very smooth and felt great afterwards.It's just a cleaner / wash So you don't have to leave it on overnight for it to work. It's very gentle does not have a strong abrasive. It does have a very nice citrusy scent that's not too overpowering. But if you don't like any scents at all, you might not appreciate fragrance.I will definitely be using this one from now on.

Smooth Skin!
I’ve tried a Kate Somerville face wash before & absolutely loved the results. I saw online reviews for this one, and decided I need to try it as I was breaking out. I enjoy the smell, I am noticing a difference in the clearing up & lightening of my breakout, skin feels soft and not dried out, so overall very enjoyable!I would recommend putting it on your skin before a shower, and rinsing off after a minute to get more benefit out of it! This has been effective with me when using my other KS face wash too.I would gladly by this again.

For such money I expected my skin to GLOW 24/7. Just a good cleanser
Great cleanser, but a bit expensive
This is a fantastic cleanser and exfoliator, but it is a bit pricey. If you do get it, do leave it on for at least 2 minutes for it to exfoliate or else you're just wasting it (I put it on before I brush my teeth). I find that if I use this 1-2 times a week, I don't have to use any stronger exfoliants, which is great for when my skin is sensitive. That said, it is really pricey for a cleanser and I'm not sure if I will replace it when it's used up.
