Compared to my old Ballistics, these suck. I've had them for just over a year now. The terry material on the thumbs that's supposed to be there to wipe water off your visor in the rain worked OK at first. A year in, that material has all worn off the thumb and now it's just useless for anything but smearing water around in the rain. Also, I wouldn't exactly call them "waterproof", as I've had them soak through in a heavy rain.This is all too bad because they're pretty comfortable in hot and cold weather and I really like the Velcro closure, which makes them really easy to put on and take off. I'd just rather have an actual rubber wiper like my old Ballistic gloves had instead of this useless material that flakes off in less than 12 months of daily use.

I bought the XL, because that's my usual size. Also seemed like they weren't going to be as warm as I hoped. Very nicely designed and manufactured. Sent them back, and got the leather XXLs. The leather gloves seem really well made, like they will be warm enough, and XXL is apparently my size for Rocket gloves.

They are very comfortable but you can not use them if your hand gets wet. There is no way you can put your hand into the glove with your hands wet.

Just ok. Not much protection and the tips of my fingers get extremely cold even with heated grips. I can not recommend these gloves for cold weather or for good protection.

Pros:- Warm. I've worn them at just above freezing temps and they work well.- Slim, minimalist. They look good, fit well, and aren't super bulky.- Works well on touch screens.Cons:- Build quality. The stitching is coming apart pretty badly on the palms of both gloves.- Minimal armor. (But I guess that can be part of the appeal)- Waterproofing. I've worn these in heavy rain and they do not hold up. Might be related to the stitching issues, but if you are out in the rain long enough, water will slowly seep inside.

I needed gloves to keep my hands from freezing in 40-50 degrees, and also needed gloves that allowed finger dexterity to operate controls. These gloves worked perfectly for my needs!
