5.0 out of 5 stars Delectable (but warning for those with health sensitivities)
I got lavender, rose, and vanilla. So far I’ve tried the first two and they are delicious. I make my own soda, just mixing a flavor with club soda. If I want it a little sweeter I’ll add some vanilla (making it double delicious).I decided to try out DaVinci instead of ordering more Torani. I’m finishing up my Torani vanilla now.I wanted to add a note for those who are sensitive to histamine, sulfite, or ammonia:The lavender was so good that I had 2x 8oz glasses with approx 6tbsp total when it arrived yesterday. I was very surprised when out of nowhere I had sleep problems last night, waking up after 1 hour and then stuck awake sneezing with a runny nose for hours. Finally got back to sleep with some quercetin, fexofenadine, and maybe niacin, but it was a bad night. I didn’t feel better until 16 hours later upon taking a beef thyroid supplement (not sure how relevant that is to the syrup though).I haven’t had a major histamine issue like this in ages, so just a fair warning. I don’t think I had any issues earlier in the day either, so maybe it was just the large quantity I consumed that overfilled my precious histamine bucket. That said, I suppose this situation was “better” than with the Torani syrups which have “caramel coloring,” which is not caramel at all but something synthetic ("Caramel IV") comprised of ammonia + sulfite, both of which I have major issues with, way worse than histamine. So I can’t catch a break no matter which flavor/brand I choose!Only (Torani) vanilla has been without issue for me. Interesting that the DaVincis I got so far don’t have caramel coloring (haven’t checked the other flavors), so I guess that’s a plus in terms of quality. For me, it is what it is. I juggle balancing a few health conditions, especially high ammonia which makes drinking normal soda impossible. That’s like ammonia in a can (or rather, a can causes super high ammonia in me for some reason). I take ornithine/arginine/yucca to combat ammonia.Yet I LOVE soda. (I learned that craving the fizz is sometimes indicative of needing bicarbonate for my pH issues.) So I traded toxic name-brand soda for homemade flavored club soda, and if I have to take some antihistamines so be it. It’s better than what it could be, and better than not having any soda to drink at all!
5.0 out of 5 stars If you’re a lavender girlie - get it!
As a recent discoverer of Lavender in matcha and coffee, I recently added the DaVinci Gourmet Lavender Syrup to my collection, and it has quickly become a favorite for elevating my drinks and desserts! If you’re a fan of floral flavors or just looking to try something new, this syrup is a must-have.**The Good:**The lavender flavor in this syrup is beautifully balanced—delicate yet distinct, without being overpowering or too perfumey. It’s the perfect way to add a subtle floral note to your beverages. I’ve been using it primarily in my lattes and iced teas, and it instantly transforms a regular drink into a café-quality experience. Just a splash in your morning coffee adds a soothing, aromatic twist that makes waking up feel a little more special. The texture is smooth and mixes well, whether you’re stirring it into hot drinks or blending it into cold ones. It also works wonderfully in cocktails; I’ve used it in gin and tonics and even in a lavender lemonade for a refreshing summer drink. The possibilities are endless!**Practical Tips:**- **Less is More:** A little goes a long way with this syrup. Start with a small amount and adjust to taste, especially if you’re new to floral flavors.- **Dessert Enhancer:** This syrup isn’t just for drinks—try drizzling it over vanilla ice cream, adding it to cake batter, or even mixing it into frosting for a unique and elegant dessert.- **Gift-Worthy:** The packaging is sleek, and the bottle size is generous, making it a great gift for any foodie or coffee lover in your life.Overall, DaVinci Gourmet Lavender Syrup is a versatile and delicious addition to any kitchen. Whether you’re a seasoned mixologist or just looking to spice up your daily coffee routine, this syrup delivers a lovely lavender flavor that feels both luxurious and comforting. Highly recommend for anyone looking to bring a little floral magic to their drinks and desserts!
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Star Wars juice
We found a recipe for meiloorun fruit juice but our grocery stores didn’t have any of the desert pear syrup. We tried with regular pear juice, but it just didn’t have the right balance like how the drink comes in Galaxy’s Edge. Added this syrup to the existing mix, and immediately got the taste and texture match we were looking for! Excited to try it in other flavors and beverage options.
4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect if you’ve never tasted lavender before
If you’ve never had lavender coffee before, and you’re thinking of trying it, but you don’t Wanna go all out when it comes to the syrup this is perfect. Like one of the other comments said It doesn’t have a strong floral lavender, but it’s more sweet. So you’ll definitely taste a little bit of that floral in your coffee and you can decide if you like it or not, but if you don’t like it that much You can drown out that taste by not adding as much syrup into your coffee and then you can just use the Lavender syrup as a Slight sweetener.I happen to really like the floral taste into my coffee so that’s why I give it four stars. I wish I had more of a lavender essence so next time I’m gonna buy a different bottle that’s more intense flavor, but I don’t regret this purchase at all.
5.0 out of 5 stars Blackberry taste at a low cost
Size/convenience is a 5, taste is a 4.5 and price is a 5 so Overall I would give it a 4.5 and round up. It has a distinguishable blackberry taste at a low price point. There may be better blackberry flavorings, most likely are, but this one is suitable for my preferences and is significantly cheaper than many other brands I found online. The caloric content, 70 cal per 2 T is a bit high but I would think that they have a sugar free version as well if this were an issue.
Save your money
Not what I expected at all not even sour and the flavour just isn’t there.
Delightful taste.
Prefect for a chai tea anything at home!Starbucks is to expensive ☺️
