This is a well crafted table top box with built in easel. It's simple, light weight, and functional. I bought it for painting while sitting in my comfortable chair with a built in table or outside in my lounger. I had in mind small paintings like 8x10, although it can support mid-sized 16x20 inch pieces easily.

My 7 year old asked for an easel for Christmas. My husband picked this out and I was skeptical. BUT it has been amazing. She loves it. Fits on a desktop/table top. Stays upright while painting and can fit a variety of sizes. We use 8x10 canvases but it could fit much larger. Fits all of her supplies inside- 12 crayola kids paint containers, all of her brushes, apron, and small splat mat. Light assembly requires- but was super easy and took less than 5 minutes and no tools needed. Going to get another one for my 13 year old. I highly recommend!!!

I recently got into adult paint by numbers, and this has been PERFECT for me. It’s nice and lightweight, so I can prop it up on a pillow or blanket and paint from the comfort of my couch. Also great on top of a desk or table.I love that all my messy paint supplies now have a nice little organized place to live, so cleaning up is quick and easy.Definitely recommend for my fellow hobbyists looking for a budget-friendly option. It may not be the most sturdy, but it’s better quality than I expected for the price and works just great for me!

I bought this unit as a gift for my daughter. Let's be honest, I could make one of these if I really wanted to. But by the time I got to the store search for the wood pick up the hardware.. Even if I ordered the hardware I'd be above the price point of the easel. Generally I have a low opinion of cheap wood boxes and trinkets, so I didn't have very high expectations... In fact I was figuring that I'd have to make some adjustments or beef it up here or there... But I'm happy to report that it has exceeded my expectations. Yes I could make a better unit, yes I could make adjustments. But I don't feel that they are necessary. It feels sturdy, which was my biggest concern. My / her biggest complaint is a bolt at the top that allows for adjustment. Because it sticks up from the surface using paper or hard boards difficult. So it's best used on traditional canvas stretched over a frame. However it still makes a great place to store her art supplies,which makes her happy, and in turn me happy.

This was a very sturdy easle. The weight held it firmly in place while I painted my first ever16”x20” tall painting. It comes with so many supplies exactly as advertised. As a first time painter It has made the experience of painting so easy. I could stand or sit when every I needed to. My canvas which was on a frame stayed very still during painting which was so great. No falling over at all. I haven’t used any of the supplies yet as I purchased a paint by number that came with paint and brushes. I would highly recommend this item for yourself or for a gift for someone. Great quality gift. I also love that everything packs away and it’s very compact. Great to pack away when not in use. But it’s so nice I still have my completed painting resting on it. All I can say is ❤️❤️❤️
