This shower chair is a bit on the smaller side but works very well in narrow shower stall or narrow tub with the feeling of solid and sturdy construction. Super portable should you need to as it is light and can be taken down and put back together in minutes.

Just what I was looking for! I needed a smaller seat for my new apartment. They put in a new tub and my standard one did not fit in. It was very easy for me to put together (I'm 70 and have problems with my hands) you don't need tools, everything is there that you will need. It feels very sturdy to me. I am about 5'3" under 150.

Needed this when I had surgery that required a water proof leg cover. The leg covers tend to be slippery and I needed to use a seat for security. It’s a great size and has side handles that help sitting and rising. The seat has holes so water doesn’t accumulate on the seat. It was inexpensive and easy to assemble. I knew it would only be temporary so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Stability is always an issue in showers since the floors slope toward the floor drains and this seat does not have leg adjusters. That’s its only flaw, but if you are looking for a temporary solution and don’t care about the looks, it’s a good option.

As we age, sitting down and getting back up in the tub, or standing up while showering, becomes more physically challenging. I use mine to sit down while "showering" with the handheld wand. It doesn't, of course, replace soaking in the tub in winter, but I haven't done that in a while. It is stable transversely in the tub with no indication it could accidentally fall. It's hard to imagine why you would want to put it longitudinally but there is certainly room in a standard tub. It's made of materials that respond well to being frequently wet and then dry, and the seat surface is textured non-skid.

I ordered this for a very elderly family member who needs a little help in the shower and can still maintain independence. It’s perfect for a large shower. I haven’t yet tried it in a tub/shower combo. Easy to assemble and to keep clean. Also works well for an extra stool when the family member is dressing.

Small, but efficient. Great for those who can put some weight on one of their feet, but not full weight. Such a great seat! Light, easy to handle, but sturdy enough to feel safe.

Easy to put together and fits my small shower and bath area perfectly. My son got the flu and standing in the shower has been a chore for him but the steam was needed to help with breathing. Needless to say I never thought to get a chair until he found it hard to stand on a bad night after having the fever and chills. Cheap, easy to assemble and worth.
