They said you didn't need to put it in the freezer, but I did it anyway.My deep freezer is set to -1F, and after 12 hours it was pretty chilly. Before purchasing, I was concerned that this could stress any seams on it (like a Yeti-style cup has near the bottom), but there are NO seams! Unlikely to hurt anything unless you do the high school science experiment on it (fire-to-ice bath)...but unless someone out there wants to sponsor my experiment, not doing it!With deep-freeze mode engaged, this kept my bottles cool for several hours. It became difficult to take thermal measurements after a while...will use water instead of champagne next time 🤪The finish is nice - polished on the outside, brushed on the inside. Fits fat-bottom bottles as well.Very happy to have this classy bar accessory on hand!

The container is very pretty and keeps a chilled bottle of white wine at a good drinking temp for a couple of hours. It is just what I was looking for: copper, simple, elegant design, good weight, well-made, and does just what is advertised.

I like to keep my bubbly really cold but constantly going to the fridge to refill glasses is a pain. I got this so we can leave the cold bottle of wine on the deck when we sit outside, and have it stay cold. This does keep the bottle cold for about 2 hours, and by them we are almost done the bottle anyway. I did think it was pricey but it was the best deal I found. As long as it doesn't rust or discolor, I will be satisfied with my purchase.

This bucket really works! We sat outside in the sun and the wine stayed nice and cool. It doesn’t compare to having it on ice, but it did what it was supposed to do. It is well made and very convenient.

I have used several types of wine chillers to keep wine cool while sipping on the outside patio deck. This one does a better job for a longer time than any I have used so far. I use chilled water with ice chips so the wine bottle goes all the way to the bottom of the canister. The ice chips don't completely melt during the time it takes the 2 or 3 of us to drink the bottle of wine, and the water is still cold at the end. My daughter, husband and I are very happy with the length of time the wine stays chilled.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who has everything but did not surprisingly have a wine chiller. I have one that I use but mine does not work as well or look as good as this one. This one does not need to be placed in the freezer in order to keep your wine chilled. We sat outside in 80+ degree heat and our white wine was still chilled with each glass we poured. It's sturdy and shiny which gives it a sleek look. Oh and it can fit bottles of bubbly too! I am buying one for myself and chucking the one that came with my electric wine bottle opener.

Attractive (stainless steel) and double walled, these wine chillers are great because as one bottle of wine is finished a new cold bottle can be inserted and kept cold without the need to chill the wine holder. I have a marble wine chiller and a flexible gel-type sleeve but both of those require time in the freezer before inserting your bottle. These stainless steel holder do not require prechilling, though I might try that out sometime to see if it makes a difference. Inexpensive so easy to have more than one on hand.

Attractive and Unique
The wine container was as advertised - practical and attractive for either the table or counter.It is a suitable container for red wine also, just don't chill wine first.
Not the quality expected for the price.
It fits wine bottles and Champagne bottles.But as soon as I opened the box, I could see the wine chiller was not as thick as I thought it would be. I thought it would be on the heavy side. It's not. I also thought it would have a very luxurious finish, but it's normal, as any other 25$ wine chiller I have seen before.I also saw right away some imperfections in the metal, one on the rim and two on one side. You can feel the bumps easily with your fingers and see them as well. I couldn't take a photo, my phone was not catching the defect. I attached a photo of the rim though, it is super obvious.Not the quality expected for the price. I returned it right away.
