We bought these because we needed more storage in our '23 Forester Wilderness when we go camping. We wanted something sturdy, water resistant, and not crazy expensive. These filled in all the check marks. They fit perfectly in our roof top basket with a spare tire, and they are indeed water resistant. You can't dunk them in water and expect them to stay dry, but strapped to roof in a down pour while driving 70mph.... They didn't leak. I would buy them again 100%.

I can't compliment these containers enough. I put mine outside year-round, beside a pool (chemicals) and they have held up for 3+ years now. I recently bought more to store firewood, to prevent it from getting wet. These are rainproof and snowproof. One can lock the container with a padlock; however, I don't need to do this but if you camp, it might be useful for you. These are durable, thick, and tough. I do not pick up and drop mine on the ground much. I place it in one place and just throw a bunch of stuff into it and it works great. There are different sizes. As for vertical stacking, I don't think that would work well since the tops are not conducive to keeping the container on top from shifting if jostled and will fall. The good thing, it doesn't collect water on top of the container (sitting as puddle), so if you have a pet (e.g., dog) who might lap up the water after a rain, this works to prevent that. Overall, a fantastic product. No regrets. Do I wish they were a bit more affordable, yes, but if you get a great product, then the value is there. You'll be able to use these for years. I highly recommend this product. Enjoy!

The bin is the largest in this product line. Lots of space to pack items, large and small.Fortunately, the bin has sturdy hinges and the edges of the lid line up well when closed. Likely water resistant rather than waterproof.It is a well made bin overall. No concerns other than the steep retail price.

I use this to store and transport several sets of lightweight dumbbells (probably about 80+ pounds worth). Everything about it seems very durable.Would be nice if the handle originated from the bottom instead of the middle, just to give more leverage for rolling it.

I was looking for a weatherproof patio storage box for my firepit area. This is as close as you're going to get for the money. The 2 additional boxes are just a bonus. First purchased a box from a big box store. Hard to put together and the corner joints did not seal. The Rubbermaid has a fully molded bottom with a lip at the top that the lid overlaps, and no assembly required. We've had some pretty heavy rains and the inside stays dry. It's not as pretty as some of the patio boxes online, but it stays dry inside.
