I got this camera specifically to use on a whitewater rafting trip. The price was very favorable compared to GoPro or others, and I liked the specs and features. However, once I got the camera and starting reading the documentation, it very clearly says that while in the waterproof case the camera does not record any audio. This was going to be a deal breaker for me because who wants silent video unless you're completely underwater? Before I returned it though, I decided to test it out and to my pleasant surprise, it records audio pretty well while in the case. The sound is a bit muffled, but you can clearly hear conversations and ambient sounds from the environment. I'm really not sure why they make that statement, which they do multiple places in the documentation.So, armed with this knowledge I used the camera on my trip. The results were better than I expected, I love the wide angle view and the 4K resolution. I used the wrist remote control, and it functioned fine even when I was swimming in the river (it's listed as NOT WATERPROOF but rather splash proof). It didn't seem to mind being a foot or two underwater for maybe 10 minutes, and the actual camera stayed completely dry in it's case.I only used one battery and it recorded continually for about 2 hours before running dry, I got my entire time on the water recorded. I had installed a 64GB microSD card, all the video I recorded at 4k 30fps was about 26GB.I bought a separate helmet mount and that worked well, and the video stabilization worked fine also.All in all I'm very happy with this purchase, and plan on using this on upcoming vacations.

I wanted a go pro or similar type camera that i can take pictures and videos with. The GoPros are ridiculous expensive when it comes to pricing and in all honesty I'm not into filming all my endeavors that much anyway. not to mention spending hours and hours, editing video to make cool videos that your friends and family will surely get tired of sooner or later.I just wanted a nice little camera that i could mount if i wanted to and play around with but now go knee deep in dept over. This Asako Camera is super affordable, especially for it being able to shoot in 4k. This camera has wifi capabilities so you can connect it with your phone and control some of the features from your phone. It also has micro usb slots and the necessary wires to connect it with your computer for easy download of pictures and videos. I have a Mac and it worked really well with it. the camera allows you to choose from many different video options including 4k, 1080p, 720, and so forth and has a 20mp camera that you can actually change light and aperture settings on and take awesome night shots with. It comes with so many accessories that i don't even know what all of them do, but it's nice you don't have to pay even more for accessories. it comes with 2 batteries and each are supposed to last 90 min each. I don't know if that is true because i have not had the camera running 90 min strait, but i will tell you that I took a bike ride the other day which was about 65 to 70 min in length and filmed the entire bike ride beginning to end, and there were still plenty of battery left so I don't doubt it will last 90 min. It comes with a battery charging device so you don't have to use the camera itself to charge the battery. When it comes to water proof i can't speak to that as i don't do anything or need to do anything submerged or that would put the camera in harms way. I can tell you that one of my bike rides it started to downpour on me while i was in the middle, and when i got home and took it out of the case it was dry as a bone. I'm sure that is a lot different than submerging it though. It is a solid camera that takes really good still photos and the video quality is amazing. I think you will be totally shocked with how far your money goes with this camera. I know i was. At best i was hoping for a camera that i didn't have to spend a ton of money of video taping things that might get the camera busted anyway. then your out a lot of money for nothing. I ended up getting a really great 4k camera at a great price. I would totally recommend anyone try this camera before you go out and spends upwards of hundreds and hundreds of dollars on similar devices. If you don't like the quality then return it and by the 500 hundred dollar camera and see if it is leaps and bounds better. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I know i was!!FIRST WAS THE GOOD NOW HERE'S THE BAD LOLThe only thing that i have or had a problem with, was getting the camera to link up with my phone initially. For some reason the wifi wouldn't recognize my phone and vice versa. I was very frustrated as it took me about a half an hour tinkering with it for it to finally work. Now that my phone and camera recognize each other it syncs up very quickly, but initially it was frustrating. It also does not come with a whole lot of instructions, and the instructions that are with it are minimal. They rely on you going to their website to download a user manuaL which kind of annoys me when companies do that. but other than those 2 things i say it's an amazing camera at one heck of a price.

Our 14 year old son really wanted a go pro but I could not fathom spending that kind of money for his first motion camera. So we did some research and I ultimately found this one and it has been worth it. He has used all of the accessories that we bought to go along with it, his videos have great quality and the sound quality has been on par. The batteries seem to last a pretty long time. I highly recommend getting the accessories to go along with it so you have all the options no matter what your activity is. He has taken it on multiple hikes, swimming, bike riding and skateboarding as well as a few road trips. It has been a blast for him.

I purchased this to film my outdoor adventures. The quality seems to be pretty good. A lot of features that I wasn’t expecting in the settings and easy to use controls. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that I wish they would better advertise the fact it does not come with a micro SD card. Other than that it’s been great so far!

I love using this camera while boarding! Its water proof case allows me to capture things in and out the water , it’s easy to travel with and it’s great quality for a first timer. If you are looking for something inexpensive but still good quality this is the camera to go for. It comes with a lot of accessories and the 2 batteries for when you are out for a long time. A must have if you are new to the camera/video recording game.

Me sorprendió su calidad de imagen, e incluso de sonido bajo el agua.El kit es muy completo con todos los accesorios que incluye.La carcasa hermética, funciona a la perfección debajo del agua.Obviamente existen mejores modelos, incluso de la misma marca, pero si te vas a iniciar en videos acuáticos, empieza por algo normal como es esta cámara, y ya iras subiendo cuando lo tengas dominado.

Fantastic Little Camera
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a little waterproof video camera to record video and take photos on my motorbike. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but wanted semi-decent video and images. So far this little beauty has exceeded my expectations. I'm a bit of a geek by nature and film a lot of videos (underwater), so I have a fair idea of what is good and what is not...I've had the camera for a few days now and my initial impressions are:- Quality seems excellent. I really only need to shoot in 1080p (4K is really too large for most purposes) and having 60fps is desirable, the right boxes are ticked already.- Video stabilization is essential on the motorbike, and this little camera does an excellent job with the footage.- The remote control is very useful and functional. I've attached it to the handle-bars, so I can easily stop and start recording video...PLUS, if you are recording video, you can hit the photo button on the remote and it takes a 20MP photo without interrupting the video. This is so useful for taking quick pictures of lovely scenes and still get the video you want- The camera has loads of different functions, so easy to change resolution, go to Underwater Mode, take burst shots, loop your video and take time-lapse (see example video)- It comes with a large range of including mounting options and accessories. I've easily attached it to my motorbike, securely, without having to purchase anything additional- It comes with two batteries and a charger that charges both batteries at the same timeI honestly can't believe how good value this is, highly recommended,
