My wife instantly loved the sandalwood smell and the product came nice and firm/wax (I think I read others said it came runny) but it is December in Chicago so not too warm out. Applying the product itself is good and it does seem to moisturize well. It doesn't tame the scraggly hairs but I don't believe it claims to, just to help moisturize and soften. Going on a week of using it and I think it lives up to what it claims to do. My only con is the container is really small and hard to open I think especially for guys hands, I literally had to use a flat screwdriver to dent the side enough to fit my fingers to pry it open. I wish it was more of a screwed on top (Like my Hustle Butter tattoo balm) or had more of a lip to pry on.

My granddaughter told my husband...you smell good Poppop. She's 3 and liked the smell. My husband is using it with a comb. He hasn't complained about anything with this product. He always finds something to complain about, but no complaining with this at all. That says it's good and works.

This beard balm was a 2024 stocking stuffer from my wife, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite grooming products. Right out of the tin, the all-natural ingredients and sandalwood scent won me over. The thin profile of the tin makes it perfect for slipping into my dopp kit for travel, though right now it has a proud spot on my dresser with my other ‘man stuff’—cologne, spare change, pocket finds, and mementos.The moment I opened it, I couldn’t resist trying it out. With my extended family watching, I swirled a bit around the edge, applied it to my beard, and was greeted with immediate compliments. The shine looked great, the scent was a hit with everyone, and my wife especially loved it, sneaking in for a Christmas smooch.The branding on this product is bold and invites you to embrace your inner Viking. While I’m not much of a joiner these days, their 20% discount has me seriously considering exploring their other products and scents. After all, I have a glorious red beard to tend to—and maybe, just maybe, I am a Viking at heart.I’d recommend this to any Viking (or Viking at heart), guys with beards, or partners of bearded fellows who want their man smelling as bold as he looks. Ahem! Vikings—this one’s for you!

I recently tried this Beard Balm and find it to be an okay product, but not amazing. It does make my beard softer, which is nice, and my beard looks a bit healthier and shinier too. The balm is fairly easy to use, though it's a bit thick and takes some effort to spread evenly.One thing that really bugged me is that it says it will harden the beard, but it doesn't actually do that. My beard feels just as soft and not any more stiff, so it doesn't really help with styling as much as I hoped. The moisture it adds is decent, and my beard does feel less dry, but it's not a huge difference.Overall, the effect on my beard hair is okay. It looks slightly better, but not a drastic change. The performance is alright if you're just looking for some softness and moisture, but don't expect it to keep your beard in place all day. The Sandalwood scent is nice, though, not too strong but noticeable. Giving it 3 stars because it has some good points, but doesn't live up to all its claims.

Smells good, feels good, don't need to use a lot. The smell lasts a decent amount of time, and the tin lasts surprisingly long. Very pleased, will be buying again.

I have been to the main big box stores and got tired of seeing the same ol limited selection of beard products. So I came here and picked up this.Thinking....it's "Viking"...it has to be good. What I was looking for was a beard balm/wax that moisturizers and control. I have a medium length beard and like a thick balm for the control and style. This.....is nothing like that.1. There is nothing "Viking" about it. It is made in China.2. There is no control in this product.3. The scent is not strong. If you are looking for your beard balm to double as a cologne, this isn't it.So why do I give it 5 stars? Well it moisturizes very well. As soon as you get a dab out on your fingers and rub it in your palms, it creates a very light layer that goes into every blade of hair. It leaves a light coat that's not greasy. Everything that it says on its package, it delivers.

Excellent beard balm. Nice sexy smell. Well balanced. Not sticky or too greasy. Would definitely recommend. My brother, a long time beard face, was also impressed by it.
