5.0 out of 5 stars Super Strong
Extremely strong magnets. Can be quite hard to separate.
5.0 out of 5 stars Strong
These magnets are very strong. They worked well to help organize my tool box. Ive had no issues with the adhesive so far. They are susceptible to breaking if you mishandle them but that is the nature of any strong magnetic.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good News = These are Strong! Bad News: These are STRONG!
These are powerful little magnets, which is wonderful if you can manage to get them secured precisely where you want. But for me, their very strength made them difficult to handle. But I'm hemiplegic, so people with the full use of both hands probably won't have nearly as much difficulty as I did.To begin with, I had an awful time separating just one from the pack. Once I succeeded in doing that, I tried attaching the magnet with one of the adhesive strips that are included. But as soon as I tried to position a second magnet parallel to the first, an inch or so apart on the surface of the object I wanted to put up, SNAP! The first magnet flew off its adhesive and clung fiercely to the second, and the two seemed welded together. After quite a bit of maneuvering, I ultimately managed to get four of these feisty little magnets positioned vertically side by side on the back of my cell phone holder.Since the adhesive that came with the magnets *clearly* wasn't strong enough, I resorted to Gorilla Glue, which worked better, but still not flawlessly. If I pull off, slide off, or otherwise detach my phone holder from the metal umbrella stand to which it's magnetically attached, several of the magnets are likely to remain behind on the umbrella stand. However, as long as I leave the holder in place, which I'll probably do 99% of the time, the magnets hold fine.In all, these are very good magnets; they just require some manual dexterity to successfully "wrangle."
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect solution!
These magnets were perfect for my art project. I needed a way to display my outdoor paintings. The wall was made of brick, and I was not allowed to drill holes in it. So, I just applied the magnet with the sticky tape to the wall and one to my painting. The magnets stick together well and hold up in the wind.
5.0 out of 5 stars SUPER MAGNETIC
These magnets are SUPER MAGNETIC, so magnetic I couldn't separate them and pull them apart so I could use them - unfortunately, one came broken so I had to return them as there is no replacement for just one magnet. Wish they came a little wider, if they did I would reorder them.THEY ARE TRULY HEAVY DUTY.
3.0 out of 5 stars Foam Tape not as strong as the magnets
Magnets were. Mounted blinds stayed up for 24 hours. Then the foam tape ripped in half- and blinds fell despite using all of the magnets. sticky sides stayed on blinds , ripped where foam was and other sticky side still attached to the magnet.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very strong magnet
Very strong and I use it to attach my hitch wiring harness bracket to the frame. Works very well so no drilling needed.
4.0 out of 5 stars Recipient of polarized iron.
I disliked that one came broken, and that they only have a strong field close to them.- I put them in an aluminum clip board, 2 of them, yet the magnetic field isn't strong enough to hold the clipboard to anything against its own weight.I liked that you get a few, and that they include some 2 sided tape for each piece. What I learned. The magnets are polarized iron and not natural magnets. So I'd suggest they be used outside of any material that one is trying to attach to another metal. For the price this is definitely a good buy.I would recommend them to a friend or coworker.
Super strong
Definitely a good idea to slide them off each other rather than trying to pry/lift them off. You could lose a fingernail doing that with those suckers. 😯
Very strong albeit fragile magnets. Used in the resistance break of an old elliptical machine.
Lightweight, compact, and impressively strong for their size, but also relatively fragile. As advised by many other reviewers, these are highly susceptible to cracking or chipping. However, this is not unusual for magnets of this type.I can see how some people have experienced them snapping altogether. As they're not very thick or dense, they need to be handled carefully. SLIDE them apart from each other. Don't pull them off directly, especially not by the ends. Be just as cautious when adjusting them on whatever surface they've been placed.I've managed to keep all of them intact despite some minor chipping on the corners and edges of a few of them. But in my case, the breakage of tiny pieces is due primarily to their application and repeated adjustments before finalizing their placements.I've used them to supplement the resistance inside an old elliptical trainer for which I can no longer find a replacement console. As I can no longer control the resistance electronically, to compensate, I've stacked these bars along the inside of the existing break assembly, and with some experimentation, I've been able to to get about 70-80% of the maximum resistance I'd normally get without taking apart any of the mechanism, cutting cables, or forcing any contact with the main flywheel. And that's just with ONE set of these magnets. I could potentially go over 100% of the original maximum by adding a second set.In essence, I've prolonged the lifespan of my machine and saved myself hundreds of dollars. I no longer have real-time control or dynamic programming, but I'm okay with the semi-permanent, medium-difficulty setting. Anything else, I can track on my smart watch.
Highly recommend
Worked great for my magnetic needs
Nice ....good workmanship ..
Nice ....good workmanship ..
Smaller than expected
I don't think I looked at the size close enough so they're smaller than I thought they were going to be but should still work for what I plan on using them for. Thanks!
