The blue note pads is nice, but I would have preferred the yellow lined pads, which I ordered in addition to the dispenser. Hopefully, the yellow pads will fit the dispenser.

It’s not black. It’s grey plastic look.The metal top finish looks good and heavy enough when you pull out the post-it note.
Very Cool Post-it dispencer
I bought solely because of it's look. It's heavy enough to hold the post-its properly, but not as heavy as other models I've tried. When you first fill it up, the top sticks up a bit so it's not flushed properly. Not a huge deal, unless you want it to look perfect. However, as you use it, it levels out nicely. It somehow looks more impressive on the pictures, but it's probably because I don't have that perfect lighting. I like it and I would buy it again.
