There are a bunch of these types of laptop stands and I’m actually not using it for that purpose (using it to place an extra keyboard and mini monitor on it) but aside from it being super sturdy, I like the design on the bottom arms which curve, enabling you to place and access other equipment below it. Most of the other products have a straight arm which gets in the way.The sturdiness is excellent with no noticeable wobble. The tension is extremely tight and you need to put some strength in it to adjust. It’s tough, but any adult can easily adjust the angles. With the two adjustable points, you can get the desired height and slant desired. Super versatile. No assembly required and super light. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something like this.

Great stand; easy to raise it up, and just as easy to lower it down. Nice that it can go down to such a small size, easy to stow away. Have had one for years, and it still works great; just got another. Five stars!

I use this for my work from home workstation. This stand is sturdy and attractive. It easily holds my work laptop and my personal laptop, which is heavy. I've also used this stand with my iPad Pro for drawing in Procreate. I didn't think it would hold up to me leaning on it while drawing, but it did. The stand is tightly bolted, so it takes some force to adjust it. That's ok because I don't want a wobbly stand. I may buy a second stand for drawing since adjusting it back and forth is a pain; at least it's affordable! I highly recommend this stand. However, I will point out that for anyone complaining that it wobbles when they type, use a separate keyboard instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good enough copy of the AVLT Power stand, but with a different finish
This is a much cheaper copy (at least from what I can gather) of the AVLT power stand whose review I put below. I wanted a second one to keep at home because one doesn't want to close and unfurl this thing every day and carry to/from work or coffee shop. If you leave it open it will bang into doors, if you close it then you will inevitably pinch fingers or potentially wear our the hinges (besides taking effort).Note: it also makes a good reading stand for even large books, great for studying if you have a textbook you want propped up.The only issue worth pointing out is that on this model, you trade 50% of the original purchase price for a lower quality bead blasting on the aluminum that doesn't match mac computers as well. It's that shinier anodizing you see on less expensive aluminum accessories that isn't as matte or soft as the mac type finer finish. Still though, if this is for work, get this one unless you are so OCD that the difference will bother you. That this is the second of these stands I have bought should indicate something (the other the AVLT power before this clone was on offer).Review of the unit this one copies:This laptop stand accomplished several things I was after. It's sturdy enough for heavier laptops, adjustable enough to get any position I was after, and matches the mac aesthetic without ugly branding or cheap plastic components. The carry handle is welcomed. If there are drawbacks, they are the price and that necessarily, the hinges are hard enough to move that you don't want to collapse to carry elsewhere all the time. Finger pinching while adjusting may happen if you aren't careful while collapsing. Otherwise great stand with no significant complaints.

This extends high enough to get the camera just above eye level, the best angle for video conferences. That was my goal so I’m very happy with it. I will also say that it is very sturdy. Fantastic!

We were skeptical about purchasing this laptop stand at first since it would be supporting a $4k 2021 Macbook Pro. We wanted a design that matched the space gray specifications of our Mac, but more importantly, something that was well designed with durability, strength, and cooling/vent properties. When we received the item I was blown away at the quality. The material is 100% solid heavy aluminum and weighted approx. 5-6 lbs. The joints were heavy-duty and required extensive pressure to align them to the perfect angle. This Mac stand WILL NOT shimmy or sag and that's critical when it's holding a $4k piece of technology. Additionally, the stand was designed with rubber grips in all the right places to prevent metal on metal touching. The grips are securely mounted and hold our Macbook in the exact position that we want it. Even testing it with a cheaper laptop, the stand nearly held the laptop just shy of a 90-degree angle. The stand does include 2 slots for adequate ventilation and cooling, but because it's also made of high-grade aluminum, it also dissipates heat quite well and ensures adequate airflow. The design itself is modern and sleek and allows you to pivot the device at 2 different angles, making the perfect stand to fit a complex multi-screen display. At its highest setting, this baby can nearly get our 16" Macbook neck in neck with our 30" curved widescreen which is also on a stand. It makes sharing a desktop super easy! Finally, this stand opens up your desk space. You literally only take up (2) x 2" squares on your desk, but because of the open design, you can fit your Magic Keyboard, documents, or other office supplies underneath your laptop. Whether you're using a Macbook Pro, another PC laptop, or even a tablet, this device nailed it! We are VERY impressed with our purchase and will be purchasing several more of these in the near future for our office. Trust me, well worth the cost and you get what you pay for!

Sturdy and versatile
I bought 3 of these. 2 for home 1 for office. At first hard to open and close but it does hold a heavy laptop with no shaking. I like that you can adjust it up and down , forward and backward tilt. The stand supports the laptop at any angle. No complaints

Sturdy little thing
Very sturdy. Apart from the sturdiness, being able to use the space "underneath" is what makes the product great!
Love it! Sturdy, holds position, takes up v.little space
Overall, solid little unit, no issues at all with it, you place it in position and it doesn't move, none of this floppy "where will my laptop land this week" nonsense. It's sexy in that it's all metal frame, it's functional because it stays where it's put, and has a small footprint for the desk and it's given me more desk space back as I can now store things under it!Only *tiny* thing work mentioning, it's a touch shallow on the depth front to back, with a 15" screen HP laptop on it, it's overhanging by maybe a 1/2". So if you're an "idiot" and you only open laptops by grabbing the screen and not the base then it might topple backwards, if you open a laptop like a normal person it'll be absolutely fine!Great value!
